Fennegan had some solid throws for sure! I hope all of the Boise State QB's work toward being healthy and staying healthy. This season is terrible in needing back ups.
@@christianconverse1450 you say this every time we play someone. All of you guys said this was the game would decide if we are good or not and if we are playoff worthy but now this one isn’t it and you still don’t think so? Makeup your mind.
@@SavageThoughts-x3c what? Like what questions? I see him going three or four overall. A dual threat; accurate QB with a big arm; pro typical size; good speed; with zero turnovers, and a fantastic career, sounds like a top five QB to me.
I like how high you list Mac Jones I agree he is a first round QB, many write him off altogether because of the tools he has around him combined with his immobility
Some stats about the history and legacy of Boise State Football: - In their history, Boise has only lost 8 games on the smurf turf (before this game) - Most winningest program in college football, with a win percentage of 73.1% - In the last 17 years, they have finished in the top 25 thirteen/seventeen times (four times in the top 10) - Bowl record of 63.2% (11th best in the nation) - 20 conference championships (20th in the nation, but its program is also one of the youngest in the nation) - They've only lost 2 regular season games in the last two years, both at the hands of BYU - This marked their worst home loss in 19 years Boise state is a very solid program. They may have been down to their 3rd string quarterback, but their QB's don't play defense... Zach Wilson and BYU exposed Boise and their veteran secondary. Big statement win by BYU!
It'll never happen...unless we give up some HUGE ASSETS...and I'm not sure it's worth it! But damn! That would be nice! Look at that throw Zach makes at 7:35 w/the score 23 to 3....it's like he threw a lawn dart 40 yards...on a rope! Just perfect ball flight IMHO!
@@itzanopinion he’s worth going all in for, to have a mobile guy that makes amazing decisions like that? That tells me he’s confident in who he is and wants to win. Did you see him direct traffic? He knows exactly where to go with the ball or if he needs to run it. He honestly reminds me of Russell Wilson
@@comradewiskers2864 I agree but I still think we can do it, in fact we have to do it. We HAVE to get our guy. QB is the most important position and we need to invest as many assets as we need for our guy. That is what this team is missing the most. A playmaker with a baller mentality at QB.
hopefully, they make it to the playoffs and can prove it. while the schedule changes aren't byus fault, we would have a much better picture of what kind of team they are if they played their original schedule
Please tell me one reason why BYU is legit? They’ve played absolute shit teams all season. BYU is good, yes. But not legit. You beat a crappy Houston team. You beat BSU without their starting QB, staring RB, starting WR and starting defensive end. BYU is in the top 10 because half of the college teams missed half the season. BYU fans are so freaking annoying, acting like they’ve accomplished something big. You’ve done nothing.
I'm not a BYU fan. 50 points is impressive. My team is Indiana. 3-0 beating 2 ranked teams but one of those victories could go either way with the 2pt conversion against Penn State. They put a hurtin' on Michigan in dominating fashion 38-21 but maybe Michigan is down this year. Their run game was pathetic. 13 yards rushing make for a one dimetional game. Are you a Boise State fan?
@@deborahriley7355 now Indiana might be legit. Ask yourself, do you think BYU could beat Indiana based on their schedule? Yes I’m a BSU fan. We’re suffering from a lot of injuries. Anyone could have beat us last night.
@@Lord_Crofts we just put up 51 in Boise, nobody does that, the fact is that we’re 8-0 and on track to make a New Year’s 6 bowl whether you like it or not
@Derek Johansen or something lmao ur funny top 10 is a nice ranking for a team that would lose to a team like miami cause bubba bolden would steal the show
@jamar reid I'm positive that this team has gotten better since last season. Last season BYU wouldn't have blown out boise. Zach Wilson is also throwing a lot more accurately this season and making better decisions.
youre not legit until you knock off a great team past UCF and Boise teams have proven that what great team have yall played this year yet? i bet if yall matched up with the maimi huricanes yall would lose now
@@AustinReavesSon People like you stated that Boise would be a real test for BYU, and now you're saying BSU is "no name team" because BYU destroyed them on the blue turf? Doesn't work like that. No one expected BYU to dominate the game. They are legit.
If I’m not mistaken Steve young came from byu and Zach well he playin like a dawg so plz niner John you better not screw up in the draft we have our franchise qb right here make this happen John and Kyle
I don’t understand why so many people don’t like BYU, have they personally hurt these people that are hating on them. BYU is doing what they have to do to win. Covid-19 is the enemy here people, if they were playing the schedule they were supposed to play this year and if they were still kicking butt, I bet all the people that are calling BYU soft now. Would still be saying they haven’t played anyone yet. We should be happy that we’re able to watch some football, let alone any sports team.
I agree for the most part, but BYU definitely wouldn't have come close to beating Bama. I see them as a legit top 10 team maybe, but the top 2-3 teams would paste them.
@@ivancollier6930 that’s how it is most years though. People keep trying to argue to expand the playoff, but just look at last season where it was LSU, Clemson, and Ohio St, and that 4th spot was just the lucky team to get waxed by LSU. No different this year. A lot of things outside of BYU’s control would have to happen for them to pick up that 4th spot. But a NY6 at large bid is definitely in play.
@@williamjones7589 yeah LAST year. LAST year. That was LAST year. This is a different team THIS year. The team from last year would have folded like a lawn chair at least a couple of times this year. Instead they've destroyed every team they've played by nearly 30 points.
@@justinress2782 not only manageable - its a sure thing if they win out (which as I said, they definitely should). They'll probably be ranked 5th or 6th. I'm pretty sure that will secure them a spot... If the season ended right now they'd be in. Plus I'm pretty sure there's some rule that if a non-power 5 conference team is in the top 15 or 20ish, the highest ranked one gets a spot in a NY6 game.
Bruh if they win out they are definitely going to the playoffs😂 there will be so many one loss and 2 loss teams by then. It’ll be impossible to leave them out.
its a young defense they got besides the fact there best seniors tranfered out to bigger school and schools that were acutally playing like byus team the last 8 games

I think both Byu and Cincinnati if they remain defeated have a good argument for the 4th spot . I also thought I’d point out BYU’s strength of schedule is 61 right now and Cincinnati’s 80 since a lot of people are making the argument of Cincinnati over BYU right now
If you look at espn . 2 out of the 4 have BYU at 6 right now . If teams keep losing and BYU keeps winning they should have an opportunity for the 4th spot . Not very many dominant teams this year

Haaa aahahh hahhahhah.... And people thought BYU was just "lucky" and couldn't beat a "real" team. You guys have no clue the multiple individual skilled players on this team and the coaching. I believe BYU might be one of the top 3 college teams in the entire nation, and I know good teams, our Varsity team in High School would also blow out teams like this, and we were a Single "A" school. I was on the JV Team who went undefeated in league, only losing the first game to a Varsity team, and I played in the State Championship game on Varsity cause I was one of the best players and it was also a blowout game. This was Nevada 1987-88.
byu is good. but if you think this team could beat clemson, alabama, ohio state, etc. you are smoking. they can make the playoffs at the number 4 seed, but whoever is the 1 seed will demolish byu
@@joshuablack7255 ... Possibly, that's why I said they are somewhere in the Top 3. However, everyone was saying Boise would beat BYU, that they didn't play any "real" teams. But you all have to understand, when you're blowing out essentially every team you're playing against, and you also are supposedly a "lesser" school, you can't underestimate a team like this. If you carefully watch, every player of this team is just good, as well as the play calls. History is full of teams that are not the "big players", but end up dominating simply because they've put together something special. This is one of those instances... and it makes me sad they aren't playing more bigger teams so they can get some actual respect for the talent that's been put together.
@@leeuniverse well they arent getting the respect they deserve because frankly alabama is the only top 5 team that has played tough teams and frankly dominated. in fact, alabamas only non domination game was against ole miss. i just dont think byu is comparable. i mean when you look at alabama who has dominated #5 georgia and #8 tamu, you cant really compare that to a blowout win against soon to be unranked boise state and a come from behind victory over houston. i definitely think byu has talent. i think they could possibly pull out and upset win over osu or clemson. but when i look at the talent alabama has, including the massive imporovement on the defensive side of the football, i cant see a way in which byu wins that football game. alabama is simply better.
Legend has it that the burn unit in Salt Lake is on code black. Due to the overload of the donkeys secondary being life flighted in The black uniforms and blue turf are perfect. Maybe. They got robbed hard in the cfp rankings. #14. Even if they'd have just gotten like #12 then I think they'd be golden. But it's almost like the cfp committee purposely put them to 14 so they could ultimately keep them out of the top 12. Like fuuuck offf

Wilson better go to the draft this year. There’s no guarantee that byu will be this dominant next year, so if they keep going like this he has to use this as a chance for the draft. Go pro, get some training with whatever team and become a damn good starter at some point soon
It would be smart for Wilson to leave this year. I wouldn't trust the BYU coach to sustain this sort of success. This season will remain an outlier for him.
Give Zach Wilson some real NFL talent and he’ll be even more of a game changer!!! Hoping the Steelers trade whatever they need to to move up and draft him in the top 10 like bush... let him sit a year under Ben and then unleash him like KC did from Smith to mahomes
