He's right about mucus and how it comes through the wrong foods. Since I've been vegan I noticed that I don't get a lot of mucus when I catch a cold.....I rarely get colds now but when I do theres no extra mucus like before. Vegan benefits us in so many ways....its amazing!!

Im a long time subscriber to mayim bialik, and saw her veganism video when she posted it. I had no idea that she was a vegan and I am pleasantly surprised.
You vegans can't even feed yourself. All you do is eat sugar and carbs and wonder why you are always hungry and thinking about your next meal. You ruin a whole food chain. You pretend to eat meat with your tofurkey and fake hot dogs hambergers which if you look at the ingredidents is full of chemicals. Why you sick person even pretend to eat meat? You create a supply and demands for so many perishables and end up wasting resources to grow your hybrid high sugar high carb foods. Instead of letting animals free range and eat grass like they were made to. Then you have to shit yourself all the time.. if you would just eat a good quality piece of meat and dairy products you would be satisfied for hours on end./
You are right. I believe that most of these trolls must have a vested interest in the meat dairy and egg industries. They are weak and pathetic and are looking for attention.
We need to work on changing the world from a variety of angles. There's a hell of a lot to change. Reducitarians have contibuted a lot to the increase in demand for vegan produce in the shops.
w3, "nicer" farms are not the answer but it is better than what they have now. It is better to start with making the farms better for the animals that live there for the time being. OBVIOUSLY, "nicer" animal farms are NOT OK! Of course it would be Decent and good to outlaw animal farming altogether, the sooner the better!
You should do an interview with death metal vocalist Alissa White-Gluz from the band Arch Enemy. She is an outspoken vegan and a smart and funny person. In metal circles Arch Enemy is a quite big name/band. That would be a way to maybe widen your following. Just a thought! :)

Great vid for the most part. Don’t like Portman being #1 as the movie she narrated pushes the “humane” meat myth and is on the side of the animal farmers who claim it is ok to “love” the animals but simultaneously exploit/kill/sell them. She also allows her kids to eat whatever they want (vegan/non-vegan) which means she purchases animal products.

What the health and forks over knives shook me from my slumber, Earthlings and Unity was the sunlight that opened my eyes... my personal perspective on the Natalie Portman film.... Although I advocate for a 100% vegan world, any way we can get people to raise their awareness and reduce consumption of factory farmed animals as quickly as possible is a huge step for the animals. I've not seen the film, but I have seen interviews with her and I do not see a "half assed" vegan. I see a very calculated, intelligent approach to make people who would otherwise not care to know anything about factory farms at least consider the topic and maybe make some conscience choices... I argue that we should embrace any step toward the reduction of animal cruelty and stop pointing fingers at how vegan or not vegan someone is... this is not some elitist club, this is for the animals and, in turn, the evolution of us as a species. You think you have compassion? Are you applying that compassion to all things or just what your personal ego deems necessary? I know killing is killing and grass fed is not sustainable. In my journey, each step toward awareness has raised my awareness further. Lets hope Natalie's movie helps millions more raise their awareness.
@@Nyle95 Most likely M Tyson must have been only plant based for health to begin with. Vegans for ethical reasons is a better way to live and be. As a vegan you can also live and be healthy and WFPB.
This vid is so professional in so many ways, though some constructive criticism is to either cut out when the presenter says "eh" between sentences, or redo the take to get it all in one smooth segment. Also, I have to agree with people in the comments, Natalie Portman promoting both veganism and "ethical" farming is kind of contradictory

I would guess that the majority of people who actually knew and saw how the meat dairy and egg industries are operating behind closed doors and educated themselves on how to not only survive but thrive on a WFPB diet they would change their ways willingly. The only people who profit and benefit from the meat dairy and egg industries are the manufacturers and businesses and animal farmers. The consumers are the ones who are funding these horrific and cruel unethical industries.

The Japanese have always known that the more meat you eat the more violent you become and the more vegatbles you eat the more kind and compassionate you become. And that is why Zen buddhist and true Shinto priests are all vegans. The other thing (which to me should be followed worldwide) is that the second you become an inmate in the japanese prison, you become vegan. For two reasons, 1 to prevent you from becoming too violent and 2 because japanese believe that taking the life of an animal is a privilege not a right and if you are a bad person enough to end up in jail, then you lose that privilege to have an animal die to feed you, so no animal products for the bad guys in japan.

Most people who have eaten meat and dairy, aswell as simple sugar, alcohol, cigarettes, stress, worry, unclean water, even eating cooked tomatoes, certain nuts and beans, can cause this mucus residue. The lymphatic system takes this mucus away, although alot of the populations lymph systems are totally backed up and stagnant, basically shut down, and when you continue to eat more and more it just keeps backing up and backing up. This is coming from an ectomorph, always very lean and thin. But I was getting alot of loose and wrinkled skin and water retention from head to toe, and age 28. I went on a fruit and herbs diet, fasting,juice fasting, water fasting on and off and it disappeared 🙌 - Research kidney filtration - Arnold ehret mucusless Fruit and herbs move lymph, not vegetables. Unfortunately But your diet should also be balanced with vegetables
So let me ask this community. I am a vegan. But I have made the decision to do so for health reasons only I have no interest in any of the animal rights stuff that goes behind it. Does that make me less of a vegan

Kat is the real deal. For one reason, she only sells in countries that do no test on animals. That's why you will n ever find von D products in China or Japan, because in order to sell there the products HAVE to be tested on animals so she refuses to sell them there. While the so called vegan activist stella mccartney sells in china and japan. If you want to know if someone is vegan for ethical reason as opposed to marketing reasons, check if their products are available in the gigantic chinese market. Von D could make 1 million time what she earns now, by selling in china, but she won't and for that, if i wore makeup i would only buy her products.
