Nice site examples, but scrolling through those sites consumes more than 50% of my CPU resources. Animated SVGs are kinda heavyweight.

Some of these flashier sites are more for show and not practical. They consume too many resources and will confuse the viewer.

They also might not translate well to mobile. Not many non-designers are spending there days in front of large displays.
