Your tutorials are beyond amazing, I was fortunate to find your channel. On this particular lesson, the information is valuable as usual but, the best part is when kitty cat walks in front of the camera and steals the show… loved it.

Thank you Louise for the tips I loved the vanishing scrunched up paper towel !! my cat is prone to that and for biting the end of the brush while I paint ,perhaps she is trying to tell me it's her turn !! thank you for sharing these tips with us I am learning such a lot from your tutorials xx

Great techniques, thank you….always learn something new from you❤️. I think my biggest problem is i rush too much. I watch how gentle and delicate you are. You never seem to rush…..you take your time and always have such beautiful details 👍🏼

I enjoy your videos and I always learn something. Love the 'out-takes' and kitty is an added attraction. I have 4 and they always want to participate, you know, help to make the bed, fold laundry, zig-zag in front of me when I'm walking, walk on my keyboard while I'm typing, etc.lol

I place 70% rubbing alcohol in a small sprayer bottle and use spritzes on my backgrounds. It also creates a quick drying effect that adds nice texture.

Another tool to use with your spray bottles is the Tim Holtz Splatter Brush. It gives you nice, similar size drops, depending on how hard or soft you flick it. You can also splatter paint with onto the watercolor.

Great tips! I used the fine spray in my own seal painting to give the fur a dappled effect. I’m keen to try the cling film now! ❤

That was fun! I'm a few years into the excitement that is watercolour (with you, Louise, as a key mentor) so I've heard of all these techniques and have used most at least once. This was a zippy run-through showing techniques and results useful to me. I'm appreciating the work you put into all your vids here on RU-vid. I add the salt just when the paper loses its sheen. It shows up best on dark colors.
