6:17 this is true, I have a special shock that takes 400psi and I would pump it up to 400psi, unscrew pump then re-check the pressure (with pump) and it would be at 350psi, I ended up making a custom hose where I could back the core presser out then unscrew the pump because I thought I was losing the air when I unscrewed the pump but that didn't fix the problem, the pressure was lost when screwing the pump on and filling up the volume of the hose with shock pressure as you said in the video. In terms of overfilling to compensate, this shouldn't be needed when pumping up to pressure, when you remove the pump at 100psi, the 100psi 'should' remain in the shock even though the pressure released from the line, I say 'should' because not all pumps will unpress the core correctly when unscrewing, that's where my custom hose is good because I can removed the pump without the core being pressed down. This comment is just too damn complicated sorry 🤣
@@AdrenalineIsLife The hydration bladders can be heavy but at least they can't be lost. Having said that some smart-arse will now chime in and say that they have managed to lose one.
Extra liners are a nice touch for the helmet. Is the encase the one that fell out when you clipped the fence in Ishpeming? You can get me the Klic HV pump.... just saying. some good stuff there!
