I am so relieved to sit and diamond paint with you today. Pjelly and I have been sorting out out wardrobes, who knew we would have so much to take to the new local charity shop... we both found things we had not worn for yrs .. it was tiring work so it's nice to sit an relax 😊👍💚

Hi Rebecca, I'm all caught up sense I've had my hip replacement this past Monday the third of June. The only thing is you always get done before me. I always half way do and I go to Fansells Friday that you put together for us, so I would something to watch. The only time I almost get do with you was when you did that bigger section. My painting is all confetti. But I'm happy that I'm all caught up. It only took me 5 day. Thank you so much for making my days happier.

Several of my relatives are or have been quilters. My stepmother was before her health deteriorated, and a few of my aunts are all quilters. I tried it, but it didn't really stick. It was just as well because I can't even cut a straight line with a ruler. My grandmother though quilted for decades before she passed away. She hoarded fabrics to the extent that she would buy a certain fabric, then either forget where she put it or forget she bought it at all, buy the same fabric again, and then randomly find the one she bought the first time.

Just a thought for Tweety (with the quilting frame they aren’t using) and Rebecca: perhaps it’s a resale type thing? But instead, just enough to send the frame in the mail, if it’s not too much for either of you!

Lovely to hear all about your new hobby- quilting. I too have a relatively new hobby- card making, I made a card today for my friends birthday and will be making another two birthday cards in the next week or so - one for a friend of my husbands and the other for my God daughter. It had to happen eventually- you finished your section before me today. But I did have more colours today and a slightly bigger section as like you my canvas is a bit bigger - (42.6 x 50.7) than 30 of your cover papers.

🤶 Funny, but quilting and scrapbooking are the 2 crafts I don't do. I learned to sew by hand first and pieced blocks that way before learning to sew on a treadle machine. I've sewn many things (wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, drapes, kids clothes, baby clothes, bags and many masks during covid), but couldn't force myself to piece those blocks I was forced to do as a child again. I just was never interested in scrapbooks. Love all the lacemaking and cross stitch still, and anything else to do with thread. Woodworking is also a love. Diamond painting is my current active hobby though as holding a needle has gotten more difficult as I age. With 14 grandchildren, some of who are old enough to give me great grandchildren that's OK with me. Great June waffle so far.

Hi Rebecca ❤ I miss so many that I go in order of my pots in the case. I get as many as I can see. After the first go around, I go over the pots 1 more time to get the ones I miss. I figure that I would give myself the grace for missing the ones that play hide and go seek with me. I have old 48 year old eyes.😂

I totally love your Zesty trays. That I bought from you a few months back. I really want to get your peach colored, light blue, and a black tray from you. I also would love to get an advent calendar. My biggest set back is no address to send it to. Since I am a long haul trucker and live off of my Semi for the past 5yrs. The trays I bought from you, my trucking company, allowed me to send stuff there. But I don't think my new company would allow that. Keep up the awesome work and channel 🎉❤

Watching this as I wake up before I shower and get ready for my science test - I won’t be able to finish all of it, but I will be able to get through at least a little bit and then have about an hour and a half with today’s waffle to watch once I’m home from the test. I will be taking my laptop, in case I get the bug to get it fixed afterwards, but I don’t know for sure if I will be or not. Either way, I am getting my hamburger tonight haha. On Hugo Hege, I am on my last row, with about 4 to 5 sections left. It’s so close! I don’t know what kit I will work on next. Either it will be finishing a budget that’s got very dusty drills or Cosmic Trip.

I organise my Kindle by author & then add the particular series name in a separate folder. That way the authors book folders are alphabetically organised 🤔😊

Yeah, I started organizing my Kindle. I have titled one collection as “Lucy Score - Riley Thorn Series”, another as “Lucy Score - Benevolence Series”, etc. Then my Lucy Score titles that DON’T belong in a series I have titled “Lucy Score - Miscellaneous Titles.” If I have an author who doesn’t have a series, I just title the collection under the author’s name.

Yeah for me! First time trying multi placing today and it worked. Only used a three placer as next size up that I had was a seven - too much for me right now. Just retired so will keep diamond painting.

I have a 3 and a 6 placer and i feel like it's the perfect size difference. You can either still count the 6 drills or just go for it if you have a long enough row! It's also not too big if you're only doing a lot of 30x40 or 40x50

Hi Kathryn 👋 when I started multi-placing last year, I started with a 2. When I was happy with that, I went up to a 3 & then 1 by 1 all the way up to a 6. Then I decided to go crazy & bought a 12 placer fm DAC 😳😳 absolute game changer. Their metal placers are beautifully slender but oh sooo horrendously expensive & at £18 I can only afford the one. However, I've got practiced at it now so that I can use it for any amount up to 12.

Hi Rebecca, I had a dig around in my stash of DP's decided on a 40 x 50 square and then while sorting out the diamonds came across the diamonds for a smaller painting whch I had thought I had lost . They were rounds in with the squares. So I have kit them both up and will just work on them as it comes. I have a small 6 places in metal that I use to pick up anything up to 6 drills it works well it too is much thinner than the plastic ones and so gives better placement of drills. not sure where it came from but it wasn't DAC.

My partner has just ordered me loads of bits. So some bits I need screen protectors. Some new blades for my paper cutter and a gillatine paper cutter at size

I did quilting for several years . However for me that once I finished the top , I would lose interest in it and move on to the next pattern . Have several that are not completed .
