Or maybe society feels that way and I just feel isolated and a bit like a relic? Either way, your channel offers me immeasurable comfort. Loved this video for many reasons. It brought back childhood memories of my grandparents farm & living off the land. I'm so glad that you cook by just dumping ingredients together. I cook just like you do. Dare I say, it is a sign of a good, experienced cook. I had six children and I know we have to get food on the table as quick as possible. Watching this may give more inexperienced cooks more confidence in their own cooking. I did not know that you had been getting heat for sharing your faith, but as scripture tells us, “think it not strange.” It is very much because you share your faith that I was so drawn to you and you have become my favorite homesteader. I was able to hear about half of your address at a homesteaders of America meeting. You may have been one of those who came kicking and screaming into public speaking, as you said, but you have a beautiful natural gift in it and I could listen to you for hours. The only reason I didn’t get to hear your whole talk is that I would have to subscribe to homesteaders of America. It would be worth the fee required to hear you speak more, but I am on a fixed income, so must forgo that treat.

About the only two things to not do, don’t soak it in a sink of water, they easily clean out with a stainless steel scratcher and water and avoid extreme temperature change, meaning don’t take a pan from the stove and set it outside in freezing temps to cool something…..other than that they are pretty indestructible ❤ Happy cooking !

Congratulations on your first sponsor. I so enjoy your videos. You have such a wholesome and down to earth living. I am still working full time, but I make time to can everything that we will eat. My children and their families live near us, so I never know who is going to stay and eat. I am very blessed.

I can’t believe you haven’t had another sponsor. You always teaching. I just watched Holler homestead render tallow using your instructions. I enjoy using my clothes line but not when there is snow outside.

wow! congratulations on the collaboration with Carolina Cooker! I hadn't heard of Carolina Cooker before and everytime RuthAnn mentions or uses these baking pan, I've drooled over it! I'm so glad you're doing this. I would love to win the pan, but honestly, I may just have to buy some for gifts for my 4 children. It's a legacy gift for sure!
