geng wont be jetlagged. shanghai only has like 1 and a half hour of time difference compared to korea. Honestly, they won the best tournament in terms of location between their original region.
I think GEN.G is just guaranteed to champions. I don't know why poeple are debating that. Even if they're jettlagged it's GEN.G they'll pull out a win.

Top 6 Overall = Playoffs Overall = stage 1 + stage 2 STANDINGS so teams like DRX start 5-0 for example Top 3 Playoffs = Qualify to Champs Bonus 4th champs slot to be determined by POINTS instead Total 4 teams per region
I honestly thing GenG actually have an advantage in the T1 game and not T1 simply because of the map pool, GenG have been playing and preparing Split and Breeze for a long time now over Shanghai and T1 almost certainly will have prepared more for the new maps coming in. Likely they will only play one of those maps, but still quite the advantage
great for Sen, they remove one of their worse maps with breeze gone during the main season, and they still have their best map, split still in. Should be easy qualing for playoffs
Every win feels sweater when no one expect you to win :)) from 0-6 to 2-4 and almost doing 3-3 ( if they cleared Leo ) I trust on this roaster even if they dont qualify , they will surely put up a great fight #GE
actually, they have very low chances. Cause in split 2 teams qualify by all amount of points. TH 6 Karmine 7… so they need to be 6th place, but now they got only 1 point.
@@mr.obampogu633you are mixing up standings and championship points. Stage 1 standings count towards stage 2 . Championship points determine the 4th team that goes to champions and will only be important for the teams that don’t finish in the top 3 in playoffs.
This is a horrible idea. Teams already struggle to develop a good map pool with 7 maps in, adding 2 more just exponentially increases the pressure on coaches
Poor NAVI, poor Erik... having the best record but format and Heretics killed them :( But if they win both games first week they are basically in Playoffs. Maybe they get revenge

Both times it wasn't a planned 6 man roster. Both teams, TH and PRX had to use a sub (if I remember correctly FNATIC also did that, which wasn't planned). They "played" a 6 man roster because they had too since one person of the regular team couldn't attend to the tournament.
