Keep up the good work - sounds good. Your instrument looks very similar to mine. I got mine from Nikolas at The Crossroads in Ukraine. What tuning are you using?
That who I got mine from. Great sounding instrument and great person to work with. I think my tuning in this video is (from low to high) D3 A3 D4. I have recently lowered mine again to C3 G3 C4
@@Skaldic_Works I am starting to look into different tuning as well, been really only playing in B-F#-B. I should probably get a better tuner that reads in Hz, I have a clip on one what it doesn't register the vibrations as well as even though it can be used for violin. Works on my guitars, mandolin, and bouzuki, but not the tagelharpa. I have been tuning by ear/pitch using an audible tuning app on my phone. Yes, NIkolas is a great person and the instrument sounds as authentic as I had hoped. Very happy with the work.
Thst was the tuning I used for awhile. Try getting the higher end Snark like I have. It has the hz reading and it registers very well. I keep mine nestled on the side near the low string and I will pluck tune it to pitch then adjust using the bow, since when I bow the instrument the string is pressed down a bit causing a pitch fluctuation, that I tend to notice.
