Helloooo guys!! How’s your weekend going so far? Following the “Things to do in Okinawa” video, I made a video on things to EAT in Okinawa! Okinawan cuisine is massive and I love Okinawa food, so the list got massive 😂 Let me know which food is your favourite or which one you would like to try the most!! 🙌
My mother was from Okinawa, we visited in 75, 93 and in March, 23 along with mainland Japan with my family. This was supposed to be a family trip of a lifetime, but we enjoyed the food, and laidback vibe so much that we plan to visit again on Nov. 2024. Thank you for the Okinawa videos!
Thank you, such amazing food in Okinawa. Okinawa soba is amazing. I highly recommend it, my personal favorite soba. This is a wonderful series you are delivering, much appreciated.
Oh man, that all looks great, especially the tofu.😛 We loved the tofu place in Shibuya, that you reviewed a while ago, when we were visiting Japan earlier this year, so I definitely trust your opinion on tofu products, lol.
You nailed it!!! Great job representing all the wonderful and delicious dishes of Okinawa!! Finally a video that makes Okinawa and Ryukyuans proud!! So true, the food is like eating Mother's and Grandmother's home cooking. Thank you, Thank you!!!
Thanks so much for all your videos on Okinawa!!! They are so educational and have really helped me plan a trip. You have a great organizational style to your videos too! Thanks again and byeeeeee :P
it would be really nice to have some sake before I go to work tomorrow. as a gaijin im not to sure about having it warm. I have only had it cold. it makes me wonder if it would be better. or it could just be an Asahi night to lift my spirits. lets see i lived there in 1981 to 1983 and i ate anything i came across, there used to be good soba places on gate 2 street, and others near the little mall,, i loved the little stalls shoved in any space available, they had great to go food i need to visit again it has been to long
Am I glad I have dinner in front of my right now.. Otherwise I would be very hungry. BTW how are the temperatures in okinawa? 10:36 That does NOT look appetizing. It reminds me of something completely different LMFAO
Okinawa is a lot warmer than Tokyo! When at the end of October it was a bit chilly at night so I needed a jacket, but during the day it was hot (T-shirt or no-sleeve). Oh god no...
Fantastic list! I will definitely refer this video when I visit Okinawa. It would be awesome if you could have mentioned Okinawa goat meat. Apparently they have goat sashimi, I’d love to see recommendations to those! Good luck with your videos❤
Sarah thank you for doing this Okinawa tour. I used to live in Okinawa back in 1993. Sarah I would love to see you do a walk around the beaches and some of the Island of Okinawa.
Oh WOW! Well, this I was looking forward to, and you did not disappoint! I have heard so many good things about Okinawan cuisine.. Everything in this video looked absolutely amazing.. You showed so much, I wouldn't even know where to start! I have actually made にんじんしりしり before. It was really good, but I don't know how well it would stand up to the authentic Okinawan made dish. You and Tokyo Foodie Mama are so funny, it's really nice that you can share these (totally not drunk) moments together 🤣
