The Striker is a 25 year old system...it's not new. The one with the cool turret, wasn't selected for production...and the BVS was developed in the 1970's...it's not new in the least.
My guy your number 3 was so wrong, its not called "MBT", its the Challenger 2 LEP by Rheinmetall Defense and is an upgrade package for the British Challenger 2 MBT
@@muhammadraynornayakaanackr538 calling it MBT is incredibly broad, its like going to your local shop looking for bread but your ask for carbohydrates instead...
they actually mixed up two challenger 2 designs, the first one was the Rheinmetall challenger 2 with a new 130mm smoothbore gun and turret. Whilst the second was the RBSL (Rheinmetall/BAE) upgrade proposal, I believe this has the 120mm smoothbore gun and changes to the optics (note the sight above the gun is no longer there). I think both these proposals have the same optics/sighting package in one in a new turret and one in the original modified one and of course the different guns.
@@merkavamkivm3373 nah, 130mm is a prototype gun mounted on one Leo as a demonstation. All regular Leo use 120mm, including A7 and A7+ But yes, both of them are out and use in various militaries. Unlike this "MBT" he is talking about... if it even exist. Who would called such program "MBT"? MBT (Main Battle Tank) is a clasification for most of the tank after '60, sooo... kinda dumb idea to call a specific model this way.
IF THESE WHEEL VEHICLES DON'T HAVE A HECK OF A BALLISTIC SKIRT PROTECTING THOSE WHEELS, YOUR VEHICLE IS DEAD IN THE WATER, ONCE YOU DESTROY 2 OR 3 WHEELS, THAT VEHICLE IS A SEATING DUCK ESAY TO DESTROY
a good video even if it isn't the list it promises to be as these are not the newest military vehicles in the world by a long shot, sure there are some really new vehicles like the lynx and the skyranger but machines like the stryker are not even close to being the newest in the military equipment.
The quoted requirements for Stryker are incorrect. Being American they are: It must be the fastest; it must have the biggest gun; it must look the meanest; it must look the coolest!
So first of all, the rheinemtall MBT is an upgrade for challenger 2. The tank in the video is a Challenger 2 (I should know as the tank in the video was one of my troops tanks before we brought it up to rheinemtall) 2ndly the viking isn't a new vehicle at all.. I was in afghan in 2008 and 2009 on viking so if your going to produce content.. Make sure its up to date information your posting!!!!
That "Rhinemetall MBT" isn't at all, its Rhinemetall's Challenger 2 upgrade and the first footage is a prototype that isn't what we'll get. The later footage shows a Leopard 2 based platform
Marauder has been around for years hasnt it? Didnt seem to have substantial upgrades to call it new?? Viking isnt new eitherand no upgrades except for protect from 10 METER??? fragments...
Marauder is Kazakhstan's military vehicle under the name Arlan (seasoned wolf, leader of the pack), as a Barys 8×8 created by Paramaunt group and kazakh national company "Kazakhstan ingeneering".
The new leopard is in fact the Challenge 2 upgrade the gun can be 120mm or 130mm using NATO standard ammunition, in one clip there was a big give away the Union Jack painted on!!! You may get away telling a 5-6 year old that the tanks is German.
Wow, Spotlight, you're late in the newest Military vehicles Lynx - Designed in 2015 (5 years ago) Boxer - in production since 2009 (11 Years ago) MBT Revolution - developed in 2010 ((10 years ago) Barys 8x8 (called ATOM) - Production since 2013 (7 Years ago) Skyranger - designed in 2017 (3 years ago) Marauder - Production since 2008 (12 Years Ago) Stryker - Production since 2002 (18 years ago) BVS 10 - Production since 2005 (15 Years ago) Corsac 8x8 - Developed in 2017 (3 Years ago) you could talk about the Armada (newer than 7 vehicles on your list), VT-4 (newer than everything on our list), Leclerc XLR (production started 2020), ...
How can you say the Lynx, Skyranger and the corsac aren't new? You can't use production year for some vehicles and development year for others. The Armata is still under development so it would be nonsense to talk about it. The vt-4 is from 2017 the same as the Skyranger and corsac For the Leclerc, I don't think this video include upgrades. But yeah some of these vehicles like the Stryker and BVS-10 are 20yo, I don't understand why they are here.
@@bobincognito6239 Patrick here just likes google and wikipedia... he could have spelt Armata correctly, but mind you the creator of this video didnt get the CR2 130mm so this is not an accurate video in anyway... considering he comments on RME optics... when it is obviously Thales sights... but any way... IF PATRICK was the expert he tries to be up top... he would have commented on the most obvious inaccuracy on this video.
@@bobincognito6239 Go check @ 2:45 "An modular upgrade kit" So yes they include upgrade. The Corsac is an upgrade version of the Pandur II. The corsar prototype was proposed in 2016 and development finish in 2017 the slovak used it since 2017. The Lynx is not new, but you're right that never been in service. Not because no one have bought it that mean it new. Do you consider a 2015 Car never sold waiting in the dealership lot new? The Armata is in production and will deliver 100 units for 2021 according most of news. the prototype was in production in 2015 to 2017. the final version was (according news) done in 2019. Some don't have production year simply because no one want it yet (company don't built it if no one want it.) Rheinmetall built the Leopard 2A6. the one coming out of the factory line now, Do you consider it a 2020 tank or 2006 tank? PS the first 2A6 came out the factory in 2006.
@@patrickmichaud7148 True for the upgrades. But you misunderstood, what i mean is that you can't use differents criteria (production year or development year). In January 2020 the T-14 still wasn't in production because of problems with engines and thermal-imaging equipment. But i just saw they begun production in august.
It needs years for mass production, the F-22 was inveted in the 1990 but still is the newest and deadliest most modern fighter aircraft, because they worked on it for DECADES. You all so dumb.🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
"9 Newest Military Vehicle" LMFAO The Griffon IFV, the latest Leclerc Evolution, the Jaguar are as recent or even mor recent than the 3 frst Rheinmetal. Let's not talk about the Stryker which is even older ! And even more laughable the BVS 10 dates back to 2007.

@@idiebeforeiquit @Michael Corleone dates I mentioned are the RELEASE dates. However long it takes to study and develop a vehicle, it cannot be given as "newest" when it came into market nearly 13 years before. A computer motherboard needs 2 to 3 years of work before it hits the shelves, a computer case can take up to 5 years between the study, the tooling and manufacturing before it is released in any case the date for it is the release date not the beginning of the study and design. The BVS was RELEASED in service over 13 years ago in 2005 while developed between 2001 and 2004.
@@idiebeforeiquit also for the f22, development started in 1988 and entered service in 2005 so not decadeS later. Furthermore, if it is the most 'advanced' fighter in terms of stealth and propulsion, in terms of avionics, the latest rafale and Eurofighter variants are more advanced and newer.

You know what the word "newest" mean? I think you don't. Or maby I should understeand that there is literaly not a single military vehicle made in last 2 years? To bad, I know it is not true. And... ok, I can understeand some 2012-2017 vehicles, but Viking (introduce to service in 2005)? Stryker (introduce in 2002)? REALLY? Do not made a videos about stuff you have no clue about.
All these IFVs are a total waste of time and money in today's battlefield , just look at the images coming from the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan . Modern missiles and drones have rendered these vehicles useless .
so do the USA then... they actually import as much Russian gas and oil simply because it is cheap. This argument is so moronic it hurts, barring a complete shut down of trade between countries you will have an exchange of money and material between them. The Northstream pipeline is contentious because of transfer fees for Eastern Europe (making the gas more expensive for Germany aka Germany subsidizing them) and the US wanting to sell their own gas (which they cannot because theirs is more expensive and tanker transport adds additional costs). Nothing of that has anything to do with actual security policy.
