Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State Highlights (Oklahoma State vs Oklahoma) | 2023 College Football Highlights. Oklahoma Football and Oklahoma State Football played in week 10 of the 2023 College Football Season.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

The best part of my work as a RU-vidr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RU-vidrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

conference realignment has made a trail of destruction in its path for greed and wealth. it’s sad this matchup was caught in the carnage in 2022, even if it’s a lopsided rivalry, it’s still an in-state rivalry. college football isn’t only just about the big matchups, new fans think that way. Texas should still be able to face Tech, TCU, etc as Oklahoma should still be able to face OKST. im all for change but the sport is going towards two big conferences when it’s all said and done, leaving the G5 behind

Where have you been for the last 40 years? College football has always been a money machine for the universities, endowment funds, and a tax break for wealthy booster clubs. Now that players can get paid, the landscape seems to be a bit more even in terms of what program can contend for a national championship- where as in the past, programs like alabama had a stellar method of bribing the best players to come play for Saban

We gladly turn over their gooddamn earworm of a fight song, and especially their fans, who are happiest only when blaming others for the rare times they get beat. This game is very simple today, Oklahoma get themselves for the second straight week with 3 turnovers, penalties, numerous miss assignments on offense and defense, questionable offensive playcalling.. This team isn't playing with an edge, lacking discipline on both sides of the balll. We should drop to the 20's after this loss... Congrats to OSU for their win as they capitalize on the self-destruction Oklahoma did all day...

I mean to be fair as a fan of neither team Oklahoma state self destructed too. Should’ve had 45 points when it was all said and done but they had some bad execution and penalties in crucial situations in plus territory. Oklahoma wasn’t the better team who made mistakes to lose it was 2 teams playing sloppy all day but Oklahoma state was the better team

Texas the only Big 12 team with a shot at playoffs now. And 1 loss Georgia would definitely be in over them in a scenario where Alabama beats Georgia in the SEC title game. The loser of Ohio State/Michigan might even beat them out if both are undefeated heading into that matchup again and that's a close game.

If Texas wins out they would have a conference championship (which is supposed to factored in when considered essentially tied teams) over UGA plus beaten the team UGA would lose to, or they will have beaten 1-loss SEC champion Alabama head-to-head in Tuscaloosa. They would be in good shape vs. a one-loss SEC team. Their biggest threat is if Georgia, Washington, Florida State, and Ohio State/Michigan winner all finish undefeated (no shot at making it) or if 1-loss Oregon wins the Pac-12 (probably a tougher conference SOS for Oregon and Alabama would have 2 losses in that scenario, diminishing that win slightly)

Georgia isn't getting in if they lose the conference championship. Way too many teams in contention for any team to get into the playoff without a conference championship.

This loss by Oklahoma certainly hurts the Big 12 in terms of getting a team into the CFP. Texas was in a fight with Kansas State with their self-inflicted wounds. Unless Alabama continues to run the table and wins the SEC, the Big 12 is on the outside looking in on the college football playoff

Definitely deserves a seat at the ceremony. Someone needs to make a compilation and show some statistics on the penalties OU/Texas gets called on them ever since they leave the big 12. It’s insane. Wish I had the time

After watching the game over, Dillon made so many mistakes it’s not even funny. People are blaming Lebby for the handful of cute plays, but I blame Gabriel for the handful of trash plays he had. We need to give Arnold more playing time.

I'm an Oklahoma State grad. When the Sooners beat the Cowboys our attitude is, "They beat us again this year. But there's always next year." When the Pokes beat the Sooners, its the worst thing that could happen to a Sooner fan. They want to fly the state flag at half mast. They might as well close their school (why else does the place exist?)

@@xoof24while it could’ve changed the game, it likely only changes the score but not the outcomes it was 21-27 at that point with a ton of time left and the OSU offense doing just about whatever it wanted. To think OSU doesn’t go down and kick another FG or get a TD with THAT much time left is pretty silly, especially considering OU had 2 more possessions after that in which they both resulted in turn over on downs. It was indeed a missed call, but it’s far FAR from why OU lost. May have been Gabriel’s worst game with turnovers and bad reads.

@@xoof24no argument there. 2017 Bedlam still stings, our RB was killing OU, so on what could’ve been our go ahead drive under 2 minutes to go with 2 timeouts…we run 4 straight pass plays that fall incomplete.

From another angle you see stoops actually stepped out of bounds, and you have to remember that the red that was closest was at a completely different angle than the tv camera we saw it on.

@@bullgravy6906 Stoops stepped out AFTER the defender put two hands on his upper body, so the receiver is allowed to get back into bounds to make an attempt at a ball. So firstly, PI is what caused him to step out of bounds, and then the defender continued by dragging Stoops down by the arm (using the defenders two arms), while the defender was out of bounds and not even playing the ball. It's one of the most blatant non call for PI we've seen. Research this and find out for yourself that this was the most blatant non-call for PI. Combine that with the fact that Yormark has openly stated that he wants OU and Texas to fail, it's clear corruption on that egregious call. And to think that PI was called on OU the previous drive when the receiver shoved the CB down to the ground on what would have resulted in a 4th down inside the OSU 10 yardline, with OU up, midway through the 4th.

Remember that only 1 official was near enough to make any call, he doesn’t have replays and slow motion and multiple angles. From his position he saw the back of the defender and both players coming down with the WR foot out of bounds. Either way, OU fans have to be absolute morons to think that their program could essentially screw over an entire conference and they’d still get the benefit of the doubt on anything. OU has been bailed out or been the beneficiary of calls for 20+ years. Remember the 2 face masks in this game? Or the OU Waterboy shoulder check bowman? Pretty obvious, and just as uncalled.

Yormark's fingerprint was left on this game, and he is a happy commissioner. You'll never see a more egregious non-call on the Stoops PI, particularly the FBS level of college football. Never. Please, challenge me on this. We have the internet and all past games available. I've seen the PI non-call montage for the NFL, and not even one of those compares to this non-call. The only exception is maybe the 2019 NFL Saints-Rams game where the NFL decided it was a good idea to make PI reviewable that same off-season. My reasoning for pointing out how egregious the non-call was is to point to the corruption of the league. Bad teams deserve fair officiating too, so don't come at me with the OU mistakes costing them (yes, they also cost them). "It happens in every game." Again, you'll never find a PI non-call where a player is tackled (dragged to the ground) before a ball arrives, while the defender is not playing the ball. It had all the elements - early contact/engagement to the body, then dragging Stoops down with two arms while not playing the ball (while not even being in bounds...). Meanwhile, on what would have been 4th down on the OSU 8 yard line, a PI was called on OU where the receiver shoved the CB who ended up falling down. Yes, the CB grabbed the WR briefly by the jersey, but the rule is that is not PI if both players are pushing/shoving/grabbing. That would have been an OSU punt in the endzone, OU leading by 1 with half a quarter left. BV got so upset on that play he stepped onto the field, and refs called another 15 yard penalty on him. Let's go ahead and point out that refs rarely rarely rarely make that call. Basically only make the call if the coach has been warned and he continues on and on. This is a rivalry game and it was the 4th quarter, so usually one would get the benefit of the doubt. That is, unless you are OU or Texas and Yormark has given you permission to screw these teams out of critical games! The world (minus Poke fans) will not remember that the Big12 was corrupt and made some once in a lifetime calls to change critical moments of this game.

1:39 OSU player is in the endzone when he touched the ball. The ref is 10 yards away with PERFECT view of the ball and players body... Ball was placed at the 1 🤦‍♂️🤡
