Sheriff Mike Bouchard said that nine people were shot, including two boys from the same family. The 42-year-old suspect was found dead at a home he shared with his mother, police said.

If I remember correctly, Mike had to move back in with his mom after he lost out on work due to Covid. His father died right about that same time and Mike completely shut down. I lived and worked for 22+ years in Rochester Hills and loved it there while raising my son's. Never during that time did we experience anything like this. My prayer's to the victims.
