I fully agree with your proposal. Regarding the multimeter, I suggest one with a current clamp. This enables you to check the flow of current, (electricity leaks, charging circuit, starter motor, etc.) particularly relevant if you travel in a rig with an aux battery and solar system for camping. I carry all you proposed except a jumper lead. There are three reasons for it: 1. I have an aux battery for my camper part and can connect it with the starter battery via dual battery management system. 2. I have a solar system on board which enables me to charge the two batteries in case they are flat. 3. My old-fashioned troopy can be pushed or pulled to start (it only takes 3 strong Argentinians to push start it, although the need for it was because of failing glow plugs) Always love to see your contributions and always learn something new. Good work, mate!

Great comment. The old troopys are fantastic 4x4s.

Great video I noticed that you have a fire extinguisher but no first aid kit there that all that I would add to that

I do have a first aid kit of course but it’s not really a tool although the same could be said about the extinguisher I guess.

I've not had much luck with tyre pliers, I'm not exactly a Mr Puniverse contender and still couldn't break a few beads I've come across with them. Though the Hi-Lift and around 3.5 tonne of LandCruiser hasn't let me down yet....

Interesting. I know the highlift is popular but I don’t carry one.

Have to admit I've been pretty slack with what I take with me, so used to having reliable vehicles. I did get caught out in the High Country last year though, I carry a "comprehensive" tool kit by a company I won't mention, mainly because it had what I needed to change a CV (my most likely failure point). When I was chasing down a rattle however, I found out it didn't have the sizes I needed to take off my Phat Bars bash plates, so if it wasn't for a better prepared person travelling with me (thanks Rob), I would have been unable to work on anything under my plates.
