Totally agree! Everything could change tomorrow.....If I get a certain job, I'll be leaving my current boss, who doesn't appreciate me, but I'm all he has, leaving him will put him in a real bind. Not that he doesn't deserve it, I haven't had a raise in 3 years, and I'm makeing $45 an hour less than others doing the same work. He's being manipulated by someone who dislikes me, but she isn't taking into consideration that I DO ALL HIS WORK. He would be left high and dry. She doesn't care, all she cares about is power, getting her way. It's her way or the highway. I should pack up my desk and tell him the past 15 years have been real interesting and educational. But, bye-bye, baby, bye-bye. That do you think?

I'm building my value. Just learn that "constant growth" is a lifetime journey. Self care is not a luxury but it crucial for a balance life. Thanks Stoique
I would tell people every intimate details of my life because I didn’t want them to think too highly of me, they saw me as secure when I wasn’t. I thought too lowly of myself, so I wanted to destroy the illusion of the “good guy “ the “nice guy” but this strategy has turned me into the “alone guy” and “depressed guy” so I’ve been watching a lot of stoic philosophy videos to transform myself into a stoic guy.
I have started watching and watching of videos of this type for last one month. I am very very thankful because it has cgange my life in termrs of controlling anger, frustrated etc. Has also helped me to focus on necessary thing only . It is very true we. Need not be be appreciated be outside validation. ❤
It's truly heartening to hear about your journey and growth. Embracing Stoicism to manage emotions like anger and focus on what truly matters is a significant step. Remember, your self-worth is always within you, not in external validation. Keep up this wonderful journey of self-discovery and thank you for sharing your inspiring progress with us! 🌟
You're on the right path! Learning to value your time and say 'no' is a huge step. It's not easy, but so worth it. Your journey is inspiring! Keep it up! 🌟💪
Me too but good to be independent I can relate to that as same. I don't use anyone up & expect same back, so when can't do something myself these days I ask & try not to feel guilty as shouldn't. We'll get even better at asking as time goes by eh? 😂
The valuing your time lesson really helps because I do catch myself sometimes, especially on my work days, just punching the clock and letting my day slip by. It makes me feel like a mindless drone but thanks to these stoicism lessons, I'm starting to be more conscious about how I spend my time. How I prepare myself for the work day; making sure I eat breakfast, get cleaned and dressed, and maybe playing a game or reading a chapter of a book before going into work. How I finish off my day after work by either getting one of my chores done or just having a mini spa day to help relax myself and improve my health. Even on my days off, to do something that needs to get done for the house and biproxy to make my life easier/feel good about myself from what I accomplished. Its an average life for an average gal, but I know I should value myself as being a productive member of society and take care of my well being in order to continue doing so.
I struggled with and still struggling with letting others help and speaking less but listening more. I'm so grateful for this teaching in my journey to better self
Listening to these videos each and every morning is truly a way to apply the tips and techniques and help you to reinvent yourself to be a better stronger and healthier person are moms always taught us to keep our nose clean and stay out of trouble with these tips we can learn grow and walk away if necessary I was just thinking we always take out the trash trash will not follow you after it. Let's take out the trash in our own personal lives to get rid of toxic people and things
Love your mindset! It's all about taking positive steps each day to improve ourselves. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for being part of this journey. Let's keep growing together! 💪
Exactly the first two that “to value your time and take care of yourself first”, I suggested to my friend 8months back. But she ignored these words and treated that I am selfish. That time I thought may be I am wrong. But now after seeing your video, I realized that I suggested correctly. Thank you for making this video. These nine will make human fine 😊🙏
Absolutely! Valuing your time and self-care isn't selfish at all, instead, it's crucial for your own peace. Glad you found the video confirmed your thoughts. Thanks for watching! 😊🙏
I always didn't give myself enough value and when everything was gone and I asked for help, more screamed for it. No one came and no cared. So yes, I learned but the hardest way possible and just barely made it. Thank you God, for you are good.
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles, but so glad you've found your strength during these tough times. Don't forget your worth and keep valuing yourself!
I'm an either all-in or hard no type, so I really want to master every point of this lesson NOW!! I think I'll focus on self care, evaluating whether or not something is going to be the best use of my time, and listening more actively to people. But I definitely need to manage my need to react when I get impassioned or angry. I really do value these lessons and look for them all the time! Thanks for this!
Love your energy and commitment! Focusing on self-care and mindful use of time are great places to start. Managing reactions is a journey - keep at it! So glad these lessons resonate with you. Thanks for watching! 😊👍
I am building my value. Learning to “stay calm and composed” even in the midst of tension and “listening more and speaking less” 🙏 true words of wisdom
These videos help to keep me grounded and focussed on what’s important. They are a valuable guide in helping me understand and manage the complex world of human behaviour and relationships. If all of humanity took the time to listen to these ancient philosophical insights and teachings, the world would be better for it. Thank you to the authors for sharing this with us. ❤
So grateful for your kind words. It's true, applying these timeless teachings could truly make the world a better place. Change starts with us, and together, we can make a difference. Thanks for being with us on this journey! ❤
Now in this world money is building valued every one changed mind into man to money no value for person now a days so people r updated themselves value for only money among all practically now.ok
i am building my values very grateful for your sharing. Learning to say "No", "Value my own time", and "Listening more" has been my greatest flaw and biggest takeaway here. First step to solving a problem is identifying one. May everyone succeed in sculpturing yourself into the person you want to be and enjoy the adventure.
That's so true! Recognizing our flaws is the first step to overcoming them. Excited to see how these strategies help you grow. Keep moving forward. 💪 Thanks for sharing your thoughts and being part of our community!
I lost my mom the day after Thanksgiving and even as a Christian, I also value the wisdom of the stoics. It was in those moments I leaned on scriptures and the lessons I learned from reading Meditations. These videos are great refreshers.
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Like you, my passion for Stoicism also started after reading Meditations. It's amazing how this philosophy can truly improve our lives. Thanks for sharing this with us! Your resilience and openness are inspiring.
Absolutely! Building a strong personality by following these rules can make a significant difference. Thanks for embracing the journey and for your support! ❤️
Stoicism is a wonderful philosophical upshoot from the Ionian or Greek philosophers. Awesome lectures!! You can never go wrong listening to the podcasts. keep up the good work.

Take care of yourself I always say yes to my co worker and manager that I can stay back to close our shop Not noticing that it was taking a toll on me and my body. I was putting myself and family last. I AM BUILDING MY VALUE .
My goal is to listen more and speak less, as it is often a functional cure for anger. Doing so will allow me to seek and accept help from places I am and was too prideful to respect and help those around me with not only empathy and understanding, but a clear mind and conscience. Thank you for the video.
Agreed, listening more and speaking less can truly be a cure for anger and lead to more meaningful relationships. Great goal! Glad you found the video helpful.
counter-intuitively it’s usually a more achievable goal to grieve out how it makes you feel to know they will never value you that’s our experience as an #indigenous #queer person grieving is cultural for us tho we’re super pacifist… Hope is an Evil for a reason keep it in the Box #2Spirit
Gotta be honest ive never heard the word stoicism in my life an am 57 but found this video to be very very interesting an i thought i was very intelligent but i seems ive still got a lot to learn i always try to learn summit new every day thats just what i do cause yku can never have too much knowledge an we must remember knowledge is power 🔋 🙏 so i thank who ever uploaded this video with many thanks for im still improving my mental capacity cause its priceless stay safe peace ✌️ out 😊
It's never too late to learn something new, and your eagerness to keep learning is inspiring! Glad you found the video interesting. Keep embracing that quest for knowledge - it truly is powerful! Stay safe and peace out to you too! 😊✌️
Thank you for this. I’ve been trying to listen more. I find asking others for support to be an interesting suggestion. I’m going to try to apply this one as well. I’ve had bad experiences asking others for help, but maybe that’s more about those people than me.
I would like to work on being more stoic. I will have a bad experience and talk about it for years. Most people know how to feel about many things. I can tell they are very tired of it. Some just go away. I am going to listen to this video again and again.
