You’re my favorite pvper to be honest you’re so good man (and is the blink bolt ash of war good? Seems like u can be more aggressive with it and I love it to close gap, plus you deals damage…)
i know youre asking wazeus not me but: it feels decent with the proper weapon to attack out of it! i enjoy it on milady (blinkbolt > r2) and its probably good with psss, but i don't really use that
@@VillainMommy what’s psss? And thx for your reply and tricks! Appreciate it I will cook with that! I love being aggressive that’s how I’m good in PvP. Thx again man!
@@IGON_DRAGONSLAYER power stance straight swords and np! but its really not very strong compared to the hyper power creep of the stuff everyone's abusing right now. hopefully others including waz will chime in
@@VillainMommy yea like ss (swift slash) Ik they got “nerfed” but they’re still hard to counter even with some tactics like dodge in diagonal or block they’re very hard to counter so my Strat is just to hit them I just say “fuck you” and hit with that I can
I think it’s pretty good and really fun. Better on some things than others obviously, and can be pretty obnoxious to fight on some stuff (backhand blades)
Hey I haven't done pvp since ds1 trying to catch on mechanics. Do you do the backsteps because it allows you to spam r1 the way parry buffers used to work? Or is it just for style?
1:53 I see you practiced the ravioli perfect block, thats so insane man, I've also seen SeriouslyCasual do them but I don't get the timing, it seems so much harder than regular perfect block
You inspired me to get better in pvp, does headshot combos still work with the throwing dart/daggers? I tried all day yesterday and couldnt pull it off. Do you throw the dart as soon as you land the attack like a buffer and hold right? Or do you wait a certain time to press dart/dagger?
2:29 wtf was that brother, you initiated the running attack, didn't get parried somehow then pivot cancelled into the backstab like butter. What wizardry are your thumbs casting on those joysticks..?
ohshiiit I just clocked that wasn't a running attack, just fooled by the resin application. Had to rewatch a few times to understand what went down there
Perfect block, the inputs are, just before getting hit: stop pressing b (stop running) + block, (so either you two hand your weapon, or you have a shield on the off hand). You can practice the timing in limgrave on pve before doing it against other players, as you get to get hit basically risk free, and since its something that is only related to your screen, you don't have to worry about latency and such stuff. Don't worry if you don't get it (or don't get it reliably) at first, the timing is quite precise. If you want to learn more about the technicality and whats happening I recommend rust bucket channels, he makes pvp tutorials on some techs and builds and explains well what is happening inside the game and why some stuff works the way they do.
First, not spam running attacks, part of what makes the backstab work is the forward momentum, if not for the forward momentum, you have to run a bit too much to get a safe backstab. Second: play the spacing game more and (even though I hate it, I have to say it) be a bit more passive, if you always try to whiff punish and hit with the tip of the hitbox, it doesn't let your opponent run behind you, as there will generaly be more space between you both. Third: it depends on the weapon but if you have access to a decent crouch attack, you can use it more in your spacing game, as the crouch cancel will make you do crouch attacks instead of running attacks with the problematic forward momentum (and avoid doing the rolling attacks too, those are very safe to predict-perfect block).
This takes skill and advanced movement/technique to do. Cancer is more like spamming swift slash with backhand blade or vow of the indomitable exclusively
