I dont see enough people talk about FH3 . Its my favorite Horizon game, even though i know FH1 is the fan favorite. But just the sky box, the DLCs, the car sounds, and it was the first time i was able to pay for a game and my first time having an online Horizon experience.
Fh1 is a fan favorite BECAUSE it actually has a story, and that festival vibe, something that has progressively gotten worse throughout the franchise. Still though, fh1, fh2, fh3 are really great racing games. Fh4 isnt bad but lacking, fh5 took photorealism too literally and now everything just doesn't "feel" like a game.
Absolutely loved the wheelspins in FH3 compared to 4 & 5 because they don’t include those stupid clothing gifts!!! I want cars and credits not silly hats and shirts thats rarely gonna be noticed.
Fh3 is where I started in the forza series. Could play it non stop have over 1000 hours. It was a big step up for the roleplay and meet up community especially with the small towns and parking lots. Roleplay is just dead in fh4 and fh5. Just not enough small little towns. Very few parking lots and the parking lot we got in fh5 gets covered up by a stupid festival. The club feature was also great in 3 and adding people to your driver line up was great.
Yep. I always thought there was too few parking lots in Forza games. But at least FH3 did a decent job with it. But You should’ve played Test Drive Unlimited. That game took role play to a whole new level. With diners where car clubs could meet, hundreds of parking lots, actual houses and characters. Satisfaction of buying a new car, indicators, electric windows etc etc etc cannot wait for TDU 3 You could even invite other players to ride shotgun with you while you drove. And vice versa

That game was complete pure joy, they lost their touch and I think the franchise is going toward nfs direction which is unfortunate. Tdu3 better have good physics man. We need traditional online multiplayer where we can actually talk to people ona dedicated server like fh2 and fh3 had

This just made me realize just how "dead" FH5 feels in terms of an actual lived-in location. There are probably 1000 "Cafe Jaguar"s in Mexico but not a single person around outside of the festival sites or some fenced off spectator areas, like Playa Azul and Guanajuato.
true, thats the bad thing of the mexico :(. However there is some other stuff, like the volcano, multiple horizon bases, its different, more people could have been there, but its not the end of the world ;)
The reason why they removed the liberty walk kit from the 458 Italia is because Ferrari does not want any modifications on their cars and that's why they asked Forza to remove it. For example, Justin Bieber will never be allowed to buy another Ferrari, since he bought a 458 and fully modified it.
It's kinda amazing how the bodykit somehow slipped into a Ferrari. I thought Ferrari changed their mind about it, but apparently not and it's even worse now.
Here's one more thing that H3 did better: the AE86 and the Celica ST205 are always available, unlike the later 2 games. And, the Lexus ISF is also one of the missing cars.
I actually like the fact that some cars are rare - It makes them seem more legendary in a way. But yeah, gutted that the ISF isn't in Horizon 5. I'm pretty sure we'd see it through the festival playlist though
@@caprise-music6722 Seeing manufacturers like Alfa, Lancia and Abarth fully disappear is most likely due to licensing issues which PG can't really be held accountable for.
Ive spent so long figuring out why I liked FH3 so much better and I realized, 4 and 5 feel so lifeless. From the art style, the map, and a bunch of things i cant quite place, FH3 just felt so alive and actually had a personality. I spent so much time in the "playground" areas, they were so much fun to play around but all we have in FH5 are abandoned airstrips and temples. Its almost like a post apocalyptic Mexico
YES. FH3 Had some sort of energy to it. The cars looked real and you could actually fucking engage with online players and discuss what to do or even role play. Fh4 does not have that that so ever. It doesn’t shine in any way and neither does fh5
2:00 This car park is the most memorable place in any horizon game for me I spent countless of hours drifting with other players and learned to do tandems. The switchbacks in FH5 is good too but it's a bit too long something about this small parking area made a perfect car meet location
@@kexcz8276 The map is definitely 100x better than FH4, Near the Horizon Rush Festival there's a smaller switchback road that connects to the Chihuahua circuit only if it wouldn't be a dirt road...
@@NO-ge6ci well you know, I am not a huge fan of road drifting since I am very bad at it. In offroad, I think I could say I excel, when I look on my statistics across drift zones, but I think its each persons choice. Also I quite dont get now if you mean that FH3 map is better than FH4 or FH5 being better than FH4, I just know that I am passionate about FH4 so I cant really have neutral opinion on that, and also, I like for example in FH5 the volcano, that its split- half road, hlaf dirt, perfect for everybody :) .
the main reason why I don't like FH5, is because in FH4, FH3, FH2 they all had a fun area to slide and jump cars around, FH2 had the docks, FH3 had the construction site and FH4 had the abandoned Train yard, what does FH5 have
Oh My God the soundtrack! future classic radio slaps hard! bass arena slaps harder. we had rock on the rock stations. pulse was a vibe and just overall the soundtrack was super solid.
True. I didnt play FH3, but like, I searched for the songs and some of the DNB is sooo good. Even in FH4 there is great variety of songs. In FH5, I think its tooo much jungle-tropic-like. Yea, there are few great songs, but I would apreciate more DNB like in Fh3 or 4.
I love FH5 but FH3 is definitely a better game. Australia was just an amazing location and the game was genuinely fun. Something about it just captured the Horizon Festival aesthetic the best since the first Horizon game and being able to play on PC for the first time felt revolutionary
forza franchise is going to be more and more commercialised, and this mean that they will not listen to us more and more ( even if they are saying so ) I never played fh3, but man , it looks an all another game, I mean in fh5 it is all dead , yeah I have a bigger map but for what, if there is no trip to take. and other than that , fh5 map to me seems even more tiny cause roads are literally too much repetitive. I would love to see a map when I can really imagine me into it, like fh2, when u drive on the Italian coasts man that was amazing..
True, I must agree, FH5 has mexico, maybe even their "many biomes", but in price of 3 types of desert XD. ALthough, on the other hand, if there is enough people, they will change things. I remember first week of FH5, the Forzathon was broken, when played solo, impossible to finish, and yet they repaired it. Also, FH4 was more alive too in my opinion, but who knows, maybe next episode will be more north, in some more populated place...
One thing I did definitely loved about the older Horizon games in general were the bucket lists. Always interesting to have the chance to try a car out and do a challenge with them across the map. FH3 was peak with even the ability to make bucket lists of your own. I really don’t know why PG has not added them back in FH4 and now FH5. Hopefully tho in an later update.
Also there is a reason why the ferarri liberety walk body kit isnt in fh5 cuz ferarri has some strict rules for the owners such as no apperence changes so like body kits. all you can change is the color

I love FH3 I play it a lot. I think that Horizon games miss wildlife to make the maps feel less dead, birds in the sky etc.Some aeroplanes and helicopters flying around would be nice too.
The only thing I didn't like FH3 was the lack of VW, with the closets one was the Meyers Manx. It would have been cool to cruise around in a VW Bus in FH3.
I still love going back to Horizon 3. Playground Games just got it right with the game. It seemed like a huge step down on Horizon 4 & 5 in some areas.
I wasn’t interested in FH3 after playing 5 for a while but when I replayed I started to realize it was kinda better than FH5 (besides car selection) and also I agree with most of your reasons including maps and recruit feature missing in 5, But i think that working barriers should be mentioned
I still play it to this day. The map the soundtrack the cars 🤤🤤 gotta be my most favourite horizon of all time it sucks it’s unlisted now there’s some dlc cars I don’t have I really wish this is was back in it’s prime
Fh3 is the horizon game I started playing on, and there is just one thing I want more than others that I wish were in the latest games. If you drive a car with the Aventador motor, or just an Aventador, you'll notice more popping from the exhaust than the updated sound. In horizon 3, multiple popping noises will sound when you let off the gas. Now it's just one pop. I know it's such a tiny little detail but they really did do a better job with this car in horizon 3 than what they have now
FH3 is probably one of the most underrated, I absolutely adored every game with FH2, FH3, FH4 being my fav's but FH3 just hits home because I'm Australian
I loved Horizon 3 so much, I beat it 100%, I agree with you on 5. When I played it, I just raced and had fun killing time, I wasn't as engaged with it, same with 4. I enjoyed it particularily in late December shortly after getting it. Playing it gave me something to do while riding out a huge snowstorm we had and wishing I was warm in Mexico.
I left FH3 alone for too long and when I went back to it they had closed the servers down and I was unable to buy the DLC's so never got to experience Hot Wheels or Blizzard Mountain. Gutted!
I always play FH3. But I am more addicted to it that FH4 and FH5. Plus, the music in BASS ARENA, HOSPITAL RECORDS, BLOCK PARTY, and PULSE, are astounding. Keeps me in the game
Map is definitely better in FH3. Especially the pedestrians would be nice to have in FH5 as they are still present but not as much and often you have to look for them to even notice them. The time of day adjustment feature seems more like an oversight rather than an actual feature that was intended. Still would be nice to have. Missing car manufacturers are most likely due to licensing issues which PG cannot really be held accountable for. When it comes to specific cars being drip fed back into the game then yes that shouldn't be a thing. Car meets should be brought back. Little manufacturer info would also be cool to have but isn't necessary. Festival Upgrades would be really nice to have and in general just making the festivals the main part of the game again instead of just basically being one of the many sidethings you do once and then don't care about. Expansion DLC's is something that you can't say FH3 does better than 5 as we don't have any of them yet. Once we do they can be compared but until then we don't know if FH5's expansions might beat FH3's (a difficult task yes but not impossible, we'll see) When it comes to Wheelspins it depends. I find it quite nice that you are not able to simply buy Wheelspins altough it would be nice to have more reliable options of obtaining them as I don't want to constantly grind levels to get some wheelspins. Those are just my personal opinions on the topics discussed in this video so yeah you don't have to agree on what I've said and you are free to express your own opinion on my opinions. Please just stay respectful ^^
5:20 Actually the Bentley gt3 body mods aren’t in fh5, only in fh4. I love this race car and was so disappointed to find that you can’t make it in fh5.
