For an experienced loctician to marry so many of your locs and not say anything or try to correct the error, it sounds almost as though it was done on purpose lol. Good thing you are so actively involved in caring for your own locs! This video is exactly what I need at this moment. I'm doing just about everything I know to keep my locs healthy including using your excellent oils even though I'm not as consistent as you always recommend. I've noticed recently that a few of my locs in the crown area appear to be thinning and my scalp is itchy again. I'm now thinking I'm not washing often enough, and even then, not washing thoroughly enough to remove the oils that I'm adding. Also, I'm not using your regrowth oil as I should. I have to admit too that some hair thinning and loss may be genetic as I've seen my mother and all of her sisters lose hair from the front to the crown and literally go bald in those areas by their late 30's. They all wore wigs and hats after that. This is why it is so remarkable that since using your oils I have seen regrowth (though very slow), in those same areas! So far I've been able to form (6) six more locs around my hairline, and I'm truly grateful.. Great content as usual! Thank you.

That's beautiful Sis! Wonderful. Please be consistent. It's so crazy that we (Me too) can be getting results and find it hard to be consistent. I'm down right trifling at times. LOL!! Be as consistent as you can. It will pay off in most cases over times. It can also help to counteract what may be genetic and give your hair an extra boost. Yes. Be sure to wash well, but gently. I have been experiencing thinning of my locs for several months now, and I’m 18 months in my journey. After a doctor’s appointment and some blood work, I have iron deficiency anemia, vitamin D deficiency, and low albumin levels, which all contribute to hair loss. So for me, changing my diet and taking supplements hopefully will correct my thinning.

I've had microlocs for about 14 years and I've just now started to notice some thinning at the scalp. I've maintained my own hair from the start, so I'm surprised to see random bald spots here and there. I think it's time to take a retigtening break. I usually retighten every 2-3 months. I just learned about COVID and hair loss. I had it last year, so I'm not sure if it affected me or not.

That's an important observation. It really could be covid. There are so many things that can contribute. Observe to see if hair can easily regrow in those areas with supplementation. If so, then it may be related to the retis.

Hello! Yes! One ( the MHGS 4 oz) if strictly for spot treatment and should NOT go on locks. It attempt to remediate hair issues related directly to hair loss. Although the other one has had the indirect effect and has often regrow hair where women were bald, it is for overall hair health and conditioning. It can be used all over. Many women have apparently used both by also gotten great results, based on what they say.

I have baby locks. Just got in October of last year. What do you recommend put on my very dry hair. Some I notice is breaking at the end. Lacking in length in front hair line because after every wash they unravel. I'm afraid to put anything on them. My loctician has advised now I can put jojoba oil and tea tree oil on the scalp, just a dab on the scalp and I have been doing this. But the ends are what's dry. Thanks

Yes, I’d love to know too because in the beginning of my journey I put oils weekly but I got a new Loctician who told me I had a lot of buildup and should stop using oils. So now that I’m approaching a year I’m using oils a little more oils again but don’t want the build up to come back. I did ACV rinses monthly and used Avalon Organics Lemon Clarifying Shampoo to get rid of a lot of the buildup.

Dawn dishwashing soap. Once every other month. Surprisingly your hair will not feel dry. Just use on the scalp. Continue with regular routine
