Alanna, the only negative about Yacht Club is once you go YC, you'll never want to cruise any other way. YC interior cabins are actually quite affordableand still include ALL the YC amenities.

There are very few on each ships. I would assume the fill up very quickly.

We've found that depending on the sailing, YC is not much more that a balcony cabin

You should look for itineraries that have overnights or longer stays into the evening. So cruise lines focus on this more than others

Thank you for all your amazing videos. My husband, myself, and 2 teenage children will be cruising for the first time on the Seascape Western Caribbean cruise for 7 nights. It will be June 18th-25th to Cozumel, Ocho Rios and Caymen Islands. My husband has Parkinson's and kidney issues and has dietary restrictions, so I was very concerned about the terrible reviews on trip advisor and Cruise Critic. I'm very concerned about about the very long lines for everything including food, and the complaints about lack of dietary compliance. We only booked the fantasica because of budget restrictions. So many people complained about the incredibly long lines for embarkation, disembarkation and food lines, as well as elevator lines. Also, so many people said that the food is suppar and is not cooked properly in the main dining rooms and the buffet.

Alanna, I never use the elevators: they can be crowded; they do nothing for one's health and fitness; and there can be a lot of time wasted to get one. It is fascinating that you are saying that MSC has a priority system for a certain class of passengers, but, even then, my point remains about preferring the stairs all the way to stay healthy and fit for a lifetime of future cruises and great experiences. The more you eat during a vacation, the more important are the daily activities like walking and using the stairs . . . and, of course, enjoying the benefits of the well staffed and well equipped fitness-centre and spa.

Great Video. We love the Yacht club on the MSC Seaclass ships (Seashore, Seaside). Its a better layout than the one on the Meraviglia. The Top Sail lounge is connected on the MSC Sea class of ships versus being Seperated on the Meraviglia. 👍

Hi Alanna, I have been enjoying your Seascape cruise tips! I am looking for some experienced guidance and hoping you can assist. My husband and I are going to celebrate our 25 Anniversary on the Seascape on November 14. This will be our very first cruise! We were hoping to renew our vows in our Anniversary date. I have reached out to MSC numerous times via phone and email and it seems no one can assist. Just wondering if you would be familiar with this type of request for MCS and may have a connection that can assist me? By the way, your videos have been very informative to my husband and I for our first cruise. I look forward to your response! 😊
