@@blazingsaddle7492 neither are about parties. Black Based Second lines in predominantly black neighborhoods in New Orleans is the fabric that threaded through the city. It's the Pain, liberation,Suffering,Anger, that was entrenched from the Homer vs Ferguson decision,Semi Slavery/Jim Crowism,Benign and Neglect public policies,Gentrification, the spreading of drugs, guns & Diseases in Black New Orleans etc. You also have second lines at black based funerals. Now white society would pay black brass bands compensation for different variations of white recreational events like political gatherings, banquets, white private sectors etc. But,im not giving 9 times social aid pleasure club a pass when it comes down to integrating white folks on their float & giving them permission to participate in the stepping. I am ashamed to call the 9th ward my home.Shit, uptown have a little gentrification also but i didn't see any white participants on their floats or putting on black men suits/stepping with them. That's like me trying to join the Chinese festival parade in China Town that's been going on for centuries.(the Chinese wouldn't allow it). We keep desecrating on our black ancestors graves with no regard to their contributions.
@@blazingsaddle7492 All of those cities have their own way of celebrating their black ancestry that translate to their locality. (Im field with jubilation for them). None of those parishes/cities have a living Black museum that translate to the innovation of Black Based Jazz,Black Indian Commemorations,Black Based Second lines,Social Aid & Pleasures Clubs etc. All of this is happening in the heart of predominantly Black neighborhoods in New Orleans. In my opinion, your not getting that in no other city, country,or continent. I don't care about the Saints or the Pelicans relocating to another city,if Black society in New Orleans allow Black historical cultural characteristics get exploited or become obsolete. New Orleans will be in forever darkness & destitution for centuries to come.
@@TheJayblaze3 I hope this clip get more views, It looks like fun. I like when black people express black culture and positivity. This has been well pontificated
