Thanks for the tips Gareth. I'm considering doing my first Audax, to experience the ride and do something a little different. Your points all make really good sense for a wannabee Audax rider.

Very good tips or advices. Many of them of common sense but I would say the number six should be the first one because if you dont enjoy, it does not make sense to do it and sometimes many people forget that and they prioritize speed (and Strava or similar data) over enjoyment.
