For the speaker neo mag cups I use acetone to separate the glue (almost all speakers works and the ceramics too. Allows you to clean off the glue also for clean and non-stickyness.)
The trick is to get the neos out of the speaker cups once the glue is loose. The smaller ones you can use a small screwdriver but as you get bigger it gets much harder. Use heavy gloves big ones can bite hard if you are not careful! You can stick the speaker cone side to another large neo (when out just slide it off) or a thick piece of steele and on the side with larger gap that is made when you slide it over fit a medium flat head screwdriver between the metal plate over the neo and the neo and carefully pry up and get a bent tool under the back side of the neo and pull it out or push it out with a metal wire thick enough to go through the back side of the cup for some. Some are so big sometimes the best thing is to find the distance hight to the magnet and cut the back of the cup off all around without cutting into the magnet takes a lot of time about 1 hr.
I am REALLY REALLY addicted to magnets, I don't know why but when I saw a magnet,I fell in love first sight and I started collecting them and one day I left my most powerful collection in the stairs, and my uncle hid it and never saw it again. And the collection is called "elaborate" but my dad's friend knew I was addicted to magnets so he gave me a big ferrite magnet but I found a magnet (two of them) and I started my magnet collection again.but it was weaker until I found a very strong magnet that has north and south pole in the first side and the reverse on the other and I found the weaker collection of magnets I collected before the elaborate collection.
I would assume he meant spray paint cans to stop them from rattling around. However, some of the higher quality cans use non magnetic objects as mixing balls in their cans. :(
Thanks for all the different places to find good neos. You didn't show how to get neos out of speaker cups easily without using acetone and not damaging the nickel copper nickel protective coating that you have to use zink metal paint or re-deposite cote them so they don't corrode.
