9 Weeks Pregnant - Your 9th Week Of Pregnancy 

This is so lovely to read. Congratulations to you both on your little blessing. I found out I’m 9 weeks yesterday😳😳. I have a 5 year old and this baby has suddenly graced our lives after I have been through so much medical problems. Such a blessing and a nice surprise for us😌. I hope it all goes smoothly for you both.

I also don’t have many symptoms I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and my doctor said if I am still worried she can give me another ultrasound at 9 weeks. I’m just worried since I don’t know if having extra ultrasounds is bad for the baby

Unfortunately my baby didn’t make it past 8 weeks, I found out at my 12 week scan so it was a missed miscarriage. Started to miscarry naturally after but ended up having surgery at 14 weeks. I would say even though it’s ok for symptoms to go early on, it is also a sign of miscarriage, so I’d always let midwives know. Next time I will certainly be getting a check up as soon as I feel uncertain.

What does symptoms disappearing mean?

It's going from having the usual symptoms (morning sickness, etc.) to feeling completely "normal" like you did before you were pregnant. I've read that about a third of women don't experience the typical pregnancy symptoms so that's not always a bad sign, but if you have them and they suddenly fade away to nothing, it's always good to get checked out to make sure everything is okay.

Your baby is an inch long. You’re not going to show. Food aversions are super normal, happened to me.

The baby is in a inch . But the uterus is the size of a large orange , some people do show a little bit especially if they already had a baby before

I’m also 9 weeks pregnant & I’m feeling the same way. This is my second pregnancy i asked my doctor & said it was normal. As women we know our bodies & if you have a bad feeling go ahead & call your doctor but mine told me it was normal. Our uterus is expanding which is why we feel mild cramps.

@@elizabethmolina0528 thanks hun. I called up my doctor and was told to monitor it. It is normal but if the pain or any other symptoms occurs then an earlier scan would be advised. Congratulations hun for your baby xx

A bit late but I wanted to state for those in the future that "period like" symptoms can occur throughout pregnancy but you should still go see a doctor if it does happen (just to be safe)

Hey, first congrats on baby! but it's normal to cramp, as long as you're not bleeding. I've called my doctor so many times because of cramping (I'm 9 wks also) and she said if there's no bleeding its fine. Good luck with baby, wishing you the best

My Dr said it can come and go during the whole pregnancy for some women, I had a bit of spotting early in mine, brownish and light pink/red, everything was fine on ultrasound, I hope everything worked out okay! But yeah it can be normal, my Dr said Brown is old blood. Hope all is well :)

Same. I’m 9 weeks. No morning sickness. I have breast tenderness, headaches, cramping some days, heartburn, etc. I am so anxious about my 12 week scan.

It also maybe that the food you eat takes care of the nausea before it shows up. I made jollof rice about two weeks ago when my nausea was supposed to be sky high and on the days I ate it I did not experience any nausea. This is because two of the ingredients in it are said to take care of the nausea that’s ginger and tomatoes. Think positively girls you’re going to be alright we are all different and our bodies do different things during pregnancy.
