I feel like the white to yellow uv reactive products tend to have a pretty subtle shift. I have a few different color changing yarns and the yellow is really *meh* compared to the pink and purple🤷‍♀️

My favorite was the one in the blue bottle. I always enjoyed the scent and other ppl would always give compliments on it. I still haven’t been able to find a dupe for it.

You can put 2 to 3 charcoal briquets in a sock and place the sock in your shoe and it will dispel the odor. Charcoal also works if you are storing an empty refrigerator to deoderize it. Love your quirky product reveiws.

You can buy plain charcoal for fish tanks (absorbs toxins and medicines from the water) for cheap! And it’s normally smaller pieces so you can add it to a sock or cloth bag, and shove it right in! Baking soda works too, but you need a more fine meshed material to hold it!

Just don’t get the charcoal briquettes with lighter fluid on them. I’ve seen some Darwin Award contestants do that.

I have some of those charcoal odor absorbers (different brand I think, but nearly identical product). They do work. I have work shoes that I stand in for 10 hours, so my feet get smelly. Putting these things in overnight, the shoes aren't smelly by the time I need to put them on again the next day. Highly recommend for my smelly feet peeps

I've been using hickies on my converse for the past few years for easy slip on/off, and they're great I love them! They're supposed to be kinda tight as if you've tied the shoe, not sure if it might vary depending on the style of shoe (how wide the space between the sides are)?

Kay, so, I have the Hickies shoe “laces” (I haven’t been able to find them in Canada - my family in England sent them for Christmas YEARS ago). If you took literally a minute to read the instructions (included with pictures on the package) you’d see the multiple ways that you can hook them together for a different fit. This includes hooking 2 or more Hickies together to make it a bit looser at the top. Their official website has other options too. You’ll generally find that socks make any shoe easier to put on and take off, as well as using a shoehorn. Downside of Hickies - they do wear out and start to snap. I don’t remember how long it took. Maybe a year or two, but now many years down the line, they’ve all snapped, so I’d recommend getting a few pairs with each order to have a few on hand for this situation.

Love mine. Have them in all my lace up shoes. Haven’t had any of them snap, but cats love to chew on them. I’ve had to replace some my cats destroyed. Now I try to be more careful about leaving my shoes where the cats can munch on them.
