there are no asylums anymore that is the issue lived in DT Portland Oregon in the early 90s.... all the asylums where closed and everyone was put on SSI and lived in low rent hotels in DT it was cheaper for the city this way happened all over the USA
Limited or no health insurance is one of the reasons why there aren't as many psychiatric facilities as there used to be. People who needed mental health care used to be able to stay in the hospital for as long as they needed it. Then they had to limit everybody's stay as a result of no money. So, whether you're better or not, they'll throw you out of the hospital when you've stayed the maximum amount of days. Very sad and frightening.
If they keep this no bail sht up, you're going to start seeing some mass Charlie Bronson sht, people in these cities are going to break and it's going to get ugly.
That station was the most beautiful, pretty safe station in NYC. Cops everywhere, real cops that served and protected........."thankfully" I grew up there when things were wonderful!! So incredibly sad.
And who payes the medical bills [as you have to in America at extortionate rates too]. The criminal who does it should be made to pay [and if they can't, then it has to do unpaid work for the state (the state pays the victim's bills) until it's paid off].

I'm truly thinking if that was me.. as a 57 yr old woman... both of my sons would lose their minds and go after that man. I think my stepson that I've raised since 5 yrs old.. and is now 36.. he would be going after that person.
My husband was laying sod some years ago and while working with an illegal from Mexico they got into a spat. Just words. My husband turned to walk away the guy swung a shovel at the back of my husband’s head. If someone wouldn’t have yelled and he turned around he would be dead today instead of it breaking his nose and busting out all of his front teeth. My husband was in his early 20’s at this time in the 1990’s. He and some other guys jumped on the illegal and held him down while the police were called and he was deported back to Mexico. Times have sure changed.
As a father who has tried hard and succeeded to put away a history of fighting and violence, I would of unleashed what has been contained for years, some things a mans animal has to be let loose, god this makes me angry.
On the upside, life in prison means he would no longer be homeless or have the ability to hurt innocent people..... the downside is..... we'd be paying for his illegal stay. 🤔I say send him back!
See how they downplayed the Mary Klein attack as a random punch uneffingbelievable! Ms Klein was beaten half to death not "randomly" punched. I've heard that jail is much worse than prison typically. You seem to oddly get more freedom in prison, less crazy people coming and going, you can shit with some privacy.
Yk as a person who comes from illegal immigrant parents they would NEVER do any of this they have worked HARD with CLEAN hands to get what we’ve got and I am now currently in the Air Forces and first person in college and my parents would never do any of this bullshit these new immigrants would do.

I live in NYC and it’s getting really bad. You can feel it on the subways. And no, I didn’t vote for this (never have) but I am in the minority. I hope people who did will wake up.
Maybe, we should be uniting to protect each other from instances like these, and where's our men who are supposed to be protecting and leading us? If the police won't protect and serve, we need to take up the law ourselves.

You’re wrong on the 2nd amendment in CA and NY. CA has passed a law where you need a license to carry and they never issue them. They delay, decline and do everything they can to not issue them. You will go to jail in CA if you carry and defend yourself.
I feel like if a judge releases these violent crimes also back out , then they should be ignored when/ if they become a victim . Had a baby raper released no bale, after being held 2 days. He got out raped a 4 yo little girl the same day. Its definitely not an illegal imagrent only issue.
