Wayne and Lindy Baker, along with their 9-year-old son, Branson, were headed to Dickson, Oklahoma, just north of Marietta, to seek shelter, when a tornado suddenly picked up their truck and tossed it.
I have had a broken neck. I had to have the bone replaced. I am praying for the family. I can't say the recovery was "complete" I did work after as a teacher. But construction might be a bit much. There is still a lot of pain there are tendons and muscles involved as well. I hope someone gets them a go fund me or something sound like they will need a long recovery.
I think he will be honoured. The town is probably waiting for the parents to get home and heal more. The town will want them at the ceremony.. How fun aye'. Then they will make an unofficial holiday and have a b'bq every year for it..😊
@@JoyPeace-ej2uvhopefully you are doing ice, heat, ice treatments. They really do help. Im sorry about this. I have had my dominate should rebuilt. Four screws, bone transplant and some plastic NASA makes. I'll never be the same...😢
Poor kid didn't know if he would reach help in time to save his parents. That's a lot of pressure on a kid. But, he didn't give up and try to stay and comfortthem. He's definitely a hero.
How scared he must have been, running through a storm with lightning, but he did it! That’s true bravery. WTG, kiddo! Prayers up for healing for all impacted by those storms.🙏🏼💕💜
Forget Barry Allen and Wally West. Branson Baker is The Flash for making that lifesaving sprint, in the dark, only able to see the road via lightning strikes to find help. God bless him from Australia, mate. He's a bloody legend.
Branson is a hero sporting an awesome mullet. Home run for him, to boot. Dang! God is great. Way to go, Branson, your future is so bright. Hope your daddy will be okay.
If the lord had anything to do with it, that storm shelter delivery would've already been at their house. Or maybe the tornado wouldn't have hit them at all.
Branson you are a brave young man and a hero!!!! God bless you for saving your family! I'm in Canada and you are a hero up here too! Praying for a seedy recovery for your family!

Way to go Branson Baker! Your family and America is proud of you! And you hit a homer on top of it all...❤️💪⚾💐 Sending my love from Las Vegas ❤️ Way to go Branson! ☝️
what a brave young man he is a little hero he needs to be recognized for his actions by his school , and police department. Im so happy for his parents will be ok they have a little angel with great courage.
What a miracle Branson could find his way to get help. He is a hero by anyone’s definition. I am so relieved to hear he was able to find help! It could have ended so differently. Praying for the parents to receive the best possible medical care.
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes and Branson certainly is one. Praise God for watching over him and protecting him during his run with lightning flashing all around.
Bless this young man for his courage and determination in what must have been such a terrifying predicament! Saving his parents' lives! Praying they both make full recoveries! It sounds like they have very serious injuries and long roads ahead!
This is how Oklahomans are raised! I’m not surprised, but pleased to see that people are still raising their kids like this. It’s why I love my home state people, even though I don’t live there anymore. I’m proud of Branson and his parents for raising such a great son. ❤
Is it strange that after times like this to want to move back home I miss Oklahoma more than anything every time I'm back in Bartlesville or Owasso it's like coming home from a foreign country
Just wow!!!! So remarkable that he was not hurt getting help, guardian angel watching over him for sure. It will be a long recovery it will be for them, lots of rehabilitation as "normal living" will take time. I hope they start a gofundme to help out! How's their house?
With all the suffering the parents are going through I pray their home is ok. Branson Baker, you my boy are a hero. A SUPER HERO. God bless you and your entire family.👏👏👏🙏🏽🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏼
This made me cry hearing how his incredibly huge and courageous heart showed up immediately after a terrifying trauma like this! May your all of you recover and prosper! ♥️
What a deeply touching story! Branson is an amazing young boy and I will be praying that his parents, Wayne and Lindy, will recover! God bless them all!
What a great story. This little boy already has made a difference in this world we all live in.. may the parents heal totally. Lord, thank you for helping this young man fly for help and rescue. He could not have done it without your angels helping him. God bless us all.🥹🫂
Both watching this tornado unfold on radar, and witnessing the damage with my own two eyes; it is a miracle these people survived in their vehicle. Going to the town itself revealed horrific damage, with trucks or cars entirely pancaked or squished. Thank the lord for this little hero, I have great respect for him and the community of Marietta. This is exactly why we need more storm shelters, they save lives, prevent vehicle deaths, and can hold a community together. Well wishes from Texas, gotta keep our northern friends safe too.
G-d bless that family! “I had to save my Superman” those are some powerful words coming from an incredible young man! Those parents have done a stellar job raising him! The Baker family - and all of those impacted by these storms are in my prayers. Shalom 🤍🙏🕊
Hurting words he tild his parents don't die I will be back. God i ask that you give this child your strength and assurance akl is well with his parents. Much love
I hope people are supporting him after such a traumatizing event. He saved his parents by getting help, but those ten minutes sound like they were very long and terrifying. Even just having to dodge lightning while it's the only light you can see by is terrifying in and of itself, much less if you've just been through a car accident and a tornado and both your parents are hurt and there are no other adults to help you. Someone should help him work through all the feelings he probably has about that event. Trauma endured during childhood can affect someone's physical health for their entire life, as well as their life expectancy.
Wow!!! It must have been so scary for him in the dark, all alone, knowing that tornado was still out there. Not knowing if his mom & dad are gonna still be alive by the time he got back! That is one brave little boy!
After experiencing 3 -EF2 tornadoes in Tallahassee, Florida, on May 10th for the first time, this brings tears to my eyes. Speedy recovery to all the families affected.
What a little hero! That’ll make him grow up fast, taking that responsibility on. Lovely to hear wonderful little stories like this! Everyone is so proud of this boy!❤️
