ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! This girl was born to sing. She is the next Céline Dion. What a voice and talent, way beyond her age. I get the idea that she must have a pretty high IQ to sing all these songs perfectly as they should be, at the amazing age of 9.
I can't believe my ears. I just cannot believe my ears, they are deceiving me. This cannot come from a 9 year old girl. It's phenomenal. I hope she grows up to be a wonderful singer worldwide fame awaits her. She is out of this world. I have run out of superlatives. Wonderful.
I don't understand one word yet my eyes well up with tears purely at the sound of her voice! Absolutely insane, Emma's voice is so beautiful! This is one of the best versions of this song I've ever heard! ❤
That's just.... absurd.... I can't f*** believe it. UN-BE-LIEVABLE!!!!! Insane! Can't find words.... I'm crying and I'm a (highly demanding) singer myself... this girl is not from earth!
WOW!!. THAT IS INCREDIBLE!!. I JUST RECENTLY STARTED WATCHING THESE VIDEOS, AND I MUST SAY, THESE KIDS ARE MEGA-TALENTED!!. ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS!!. ❤❤❤❤. ENGLISH SUBTITLES WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION!!.
Only able to cover the first song right now.😊 The song is “Je suis malade” (roughly I am sick, I am afflicted) by Lara Fabian or Serge Lama. Lyrics are online in English. It’s a very mature, impressive song for a child, treating such themes as despair. It turns out it’s a very poignant song for Emma to sing because (as they will learn) she has a disease which will cause her to go completely blind. This song is real for her. 1:47 coach turns to another coach in astonishment, what is that!? « C’est quoi, ça? » 2:27 coach stands up, “Mon Dieu,” My G-d. 2:36 coaches are crying. Backstage, the family cries, too. Papa says, Me, too, I’m crying. The host laughs kindly: “And you, too, Papa? You are crying? It’s okay, they are tears of joy.” Shelby, if you can, look for videos that cover just this song and show her whole audition with coaches discussion afterward. Some vids may have subtitles. I tend to watch it again and again. The coaches are all but destroyed by the power and emotion of her singing. They weep. One coach says to another, Are you okay? The other laughs shakily and says, “She ki1-d me” They have to take a long time to the collect themselves. Another coach says, I was not prepared for that. The coach in the hat knows her and welcomes her to the Voice Kids & tells her, what is your name, etc. He explains to the other coaches what an amazing girl she is, always practicing, always smiling. That she has a malady that she struggles with but is very brave. Finally, the male coach on our left will stand up & talk to her for all of them, telling her, Emma, we are all hiding our tears. Do you see our tears? Do you know what it means when there are tears? We are disarmed. We show our vulnerability. And one woman coach interjects, when you see us cry, it is a big thing, « une grande chose. » And then a really cool moment: the male coach starts saying, I will remember this moment” - and others join in in unison, “for the rest of my life.” It’s incredibly touching. The short haired woman coach will tell her how gifted she is, she is so brave for choosing a song with such weight, and that she has given her a lesson in humility. The coach with the hat will say how well she did with such a big voice coming out of her small size, & how it exploded with emotion. « Bravo, bravo, bravo. » Emma chooses him as her coach. Midway through the competition she switches to short-haired woman coach, but they all essentially adopt her & give her lots of hugs, and she wins. When she sings Titanic’s theme (Celine Dion’s song), the coaches tell her she is a true artist and one of only very few who can sing it well. Do, if you can, search for the clip of Emma’s whole audition, with coach commentary. It’s the most moved I’ve seen the coaches be, explaining to her how it’s a good thing her singing made them cry. Emma’s a darling girl. When she has to choose her coach, she first says, thank you for all the compliments you’ve given me. They are so impressed by her grace and poise one of the women coaches says, « Oh La La » Emma is so special! Hope this helps a little. 😊
This young lady is only going to get better and stronger with her voice and be able to hold the notes longer than she can now and she has a very special gardening angle looking after her that use to sing when she use to alive and it is the golden old songs that use to be sung when she was alive and please sing memory from phantom of the opera because your voice would be good for that song
Emma is so Cute! Anyone from America see a resemblance to the famous reporter's little daughter, Emmy Eaton, with glasses and all? (hint: Nate Eaton covered the Lori Daybell's infamous case extensively.) Emmy is somewhat famous herself at 10 years, with her 7 Questions with Emmy...interviewing someone weekly, some famous as Matthew McConaughey, Carol Burnett, Drew Barrymore, Mike Rowe, Keith Morrison from Dateline....etc.
