I can confirm that being a mid to older teen in the 90s, majority had this layered hair cut even me. It even crossed decades and I still get my hair cut like this. The memories XOXO.

@@tolaniii8190 we used to do it as a quick weave. Old skool quick weaves with no leave out with circular closure at the top lol so it was a hot mess compared to the quick weaves now. If your hair was long enough then you could do it. If you don't wanna cut your real hair or not as much of it then get a sew in with leave out or with a lace closure. I wouldn't suggest a quick weave only because it don't seem like the caps stay secure like before back in the day. It'll slip right off after while when before it would stay on for at least 2 weeks. Idk. Anyways I hope this helped.
