Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral.

Holy crap, 90,000 lbs is an absolute MONSTER of an excavator, think of how nice it would be to have a 75 ton rotator in your fleet for jobs this huge!
@tomuchfunwithgas846
@tomuchfunwithgas846 Год назад
Just sayn 90,000 is 45 ton, 75 ton is 150,000 pounds. But yah, would still be a very nice truck.
@noahater5785
@noahater5785 Год назад
but then again, 90,000 pounds for an excavator really isn’t that big compared to the much bigger machines for surface mining that have operating weights well over 100,000 lbs, such as Caterpillar’s 6015B with an operating weight of something like 340,000 lbs
@noahater5785
@noahater5785 Год назад
@@tomuchfunwithgas846 but even then you’d probably still need two rotators to lift the thing because even though a 75 ton rotator has more than enough lifting strength behind it (and quite a large amount of excess wiggle room to spare) to lift 90,000 lbs with ease, an excavator this large would be too bulky for a 75 ton rotator to lift by itself, hence two rotators are needed, one lifting from each end.

I have literally walked away from several jobs - when they start with the I don't want you to damage it- well why the fck did your driver go there in the first place- when the driver says they said to- thats a BIG red flag- expect payment issues...- not saying thats the case here- but anytime what the drivers says happens didn't happen according to management....- thats a big red flag to walk away or quadruple the payrate....
