90' Co-dominant pine tree next to a house

This pine was actually in pretty decent shape with one small exception, it was co-dominant. The customer really likes his trees, but realized that that one needed to come down, otherwise it would fail unexpectedly at some point. While we could have speed-lined the brush into the lawn we opted to just rig everything down conventionally.

Being you did two trees I understand why you went all the way up to set your rigging stuff. If only doing one tree do you see a disadvantage to throwing up an ultra sling and pulley when you get to a cluster of branches rig those down, climb up to next cluster, reset rig down repeat? Thank you

Man you must really trust them ground guys to base tie your climb line for you. Half time I work with a bunch of idiots I wouldn't trust with a glass of water. Hell they might drowned themselves.

@NickTaylor-lm1lv I've explained to the one guy how I like it tied, and I had him practice it a bunch of times when I showed him. It's also with a carabiner, so that makes it a bit easier. He just needs to make sure the gate is away from the tree

@@ReallyTallTreeGuy that would be the only person I'd have hooking me up after I felt comfortable with him. Just like roping stuff down. I don't trust anyone to hold the rope. But you got a hell of a rope guy
