Sorry melicia but I COMPLETLY disagree with everything you said... So the fact that she had to say "everyone in my family knows how hard my breastfeeding journey was in the beginning so the fact that I can produce milk now is something I'm super proud of" 😒 Wtf does that have to do with anything!!! First off your kid is almost 2 and Breast milk does not have any nutritional value past 12 months, I feel like she is using this as an excuse for her and not the baby! Secondly I breastfed both my babies and I went through so many complications in the beginning as well but that doesn't mean I am going to breastfeed them until they can walk up to you and whip it out themselves! Also her dad weirds me out! Secondly I barley breastfed in front of my mother much less the men in my family I think that is so weird! Third her kicking him out of the bed pissed me off there was plenty of room on that bed for the 3 of them, It just seems like she doesn't want Kobe to bond with his son. Fourth she has been completely rude and disrespectful to him since she picked him up from the airport, Idk maybe it could be the lisp that's making her sound condescending and rude but that could just be me... Now don't even get me started on the man child Yve is with 🤦‍♀️ When he said " My perfect women in my IMAGINATION is to be like my mother" I freaking lost it 🤣 yes EXACTLY only in your IMAGINATION!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

I don't feel he's wrong here. He was just expressing how he felt. We are all different in this world. And speaking as a woman who extremely values her autonomy, I would never pump in front of a camera crew. And the reason is simply that there is still something private about certain body parts. Once we start looking at breasts as simply what they are - means for a child to nurse - then we can start passing harsher judgement on whether or not Kobe's sentements hold validity. But until then, he has every right to express discomfort if he feels it.

I also think her father needs to keep his comments to himself and leave the room when Emily and Kobi have private discussions, but I also think they should have gone to their room to talk in private. I NEVER would have set in my parents living room and opened my blouse to pump milk in front of anyone, especially my father. That was sick. Emily could at least covered herself with the blanket in her lap. Ari's parents certainly surprised Ari! Personally I feel Ari needed to be on her own and be brought down a notch. The lady who stayed with them was supposed to be their nanny. Why was she styling Ari's hair? One very spoiled, grown woman is about to meet reality. Her parents have done a lot for them, mostly her. @@benjaminSeigneur I am African and a mother of four children. Kobe is not lying. Some women can breast feed for as long as two years and as short as three months. But on the average,most mums stop when the baby begins to toddle. They may allow a month or so for the child to be strong and walk well. Working mums stop earlier,part of the reason being their jobs, schedules, responsibilities,expectations and the stress of having to breast the babies if they are working far from home.Although in between working hours,the care- givers feed the baby milk formula. But this is " the baby friendly age" in Africa,or at least part of the continent where I come from, where mother's are expected to feed their babies exclusively on breast milk for at least six months straight, before introducing formula or semi-solid foods.For mums who work from home or housewives they may decide to keep the exclusivity a little longer. I’m sorry to say I would never pull out my boobs out in front of my father , father-in-law brother, brother-in-law or grandfather my family grew up breast-feeding as well but it was something that was done in modesty either with a blanket or at least covering ourselves not just sitting out in the open bare breasted

In West Africa it's completely normal to breastfeed infront of your parents and we breastfeed normally up to 2 years especially girls but boys atleast a year and few months.
@nemiwellington6713

In the first instance, 17 months is too much for a child in Africa. It is believed that breastfeeding a child for that long could make the child lazy in the future. But it varies though as some mothers do it for a year but that is rear. 3 - 6 months is the common standard.

That depends on the African country and if it’s a city or rural setting.

Kobe should say how in his village do, not what Africans do. Africa is a continent of 54 nations, thousands and thousands of languages and cultures. Where I am from, women breastfeeding their babies in public without covering. Breasts are for babies, not for men. Moms can breastfeed until over two years olds. I was breast fed until I was four years old because each my mom tried to winy me, I would refuse to eat anything else, not even water and I would cry for weeks. When my mother is telling me the story, I feel so bad that I was a not easy baby, but it felt like I was smart since birth 😜😜😜😜😜

I would never pump or breastfeed in front of my parents. I have always done it away from family for privacy reasons. That moment is for me and baby and not everyone. However, she can pump and give her child milk but after 1 years old that’s a little weird for me.

I think it’s about culture, I was raised in a Mexican culture I have two kids and this was a definite no go🙅🏻‍♀️ I’m a daddy’s girl, but nooo not with out a blanket over baby & boob… And being with an Arab man both cultures still play their man / woman roles, it’s not oppression when also means you as a woman get treated as a gem!!! They are very religious, but he could use a pot to wash it’s what they use in poor Islamic countries.

I think the right terms is black American not African American because their culture is basically American or same like white Americans so I don’t understand why the black Americans like to identity as African Americans when in fact their culture is totally different from Africans in Africa plus they never been to Africa nor they have roots in Africa even they don’t like people from Africa I experienced myself because I grew up in Africa and I have been in US for over a decade now.

@@bahreldinyagob421 you really sat up and said that black americans dont have african roots💀. Afro-american culture is rooted in african culture and has african influences. Due to the migration of their ancestors, they have variations and new age additions the african culture that makes it the african american culture that it is today. A person who is ethnically chinese but born in america is still chinese american and they still retain their chinese culture aswell as incorporate american ideals. Africans and afro-americans hate each other because there is a weird superiority complex that africans have and they call them derogatory words.

The thing with this show that people fail to realize is that there are cultural differences for each and every couple. It will not be easy to understand the things they agree and disagree with. For me it would be weird pumping in front of my family but I am a shy person in that regard. Y’all already know she is free spirited so for her it’s nothing. And I’m sorry she did not nicely tell him to go help his mom she was literally trying to brush off the situation by telling him to go help the mom. Either way very awkward interaction. Lastly Yve needs to send him back lol..
