Greg saying 'mornin!' while falling is awesome, but let's not forget Henry Shields literally flying into heaven after he can't hold on for much longer being one of the funniest things ever.
My favourite of the "Goes Wrong Show". Such a simple, but hilarious concept. I think my favourite bits are the upside down scene and the dog voice overs! "Do a dog noise!" "...........No." EDIT: Lol, rewatching the show and crying laughing at the scene where Dennis gets the coffee thrown into his face when the water gun is out of fake tears.
I was in the studio audience for the filming of this episode. Never laughed so much. Seeing some of the 90 degree stuff done live was so impressive. Great work as always Mischief!
How long was the audience there and how much did they not do in front of the audience (if you know or can remember)? Because from the sounds of it, this must have been recorded over a very long amount of time (to give the actors breaks from being sideways and upside down).
I find that so amazing 🤩 I live in New Jersey so I’d legit have to make a special trip across the ocean to see them 🥺 so it blows my mind that people can just casually be in the audience for this LOL
0:55 I can't help feeling and cannot stop myself pointing out that Ol' Neighbor Joe did not need to be an actual human (Greg, was it?). He shot past so fast that they might just as well used a dummy. Still, I suppose they deserve praise for wanting to keep it real...
isn't there a recurring gag that Greg's bits are either extremely short or the set somehow stops him from saying his lines or doing what he's supposed to?
@@uhejnjd Yep. In the original play they cast him as a corpse (sort of - no spoilers) then in subsequent productions they give him more active roles only for something horrible to befall him and cut it short.
I wish you had talked more about the technical aspects of the dining room sketch. I would liked to have heard more about how you rigged it so it was safe for everyone.
Funniest part for me was this: Why can’t we be more like Ruffles? He don’t ask for nothing! Packet of wine gums please. He ain’t greedy! Family size. He don’t care about money! £3.49 what is this? The cinema?
I love how Annie tries to keep up appearances at all costs, whether she's hanging from a line or ending up in her underwear while playing a male character. She doesn't just run off stage, she rolls with it for good or ill with hilarious results.
I'd love to see a part two to this Watch Along of 90 Degrees finishing out the episode! There was so much technically going on in this episode, and it was truly hilarious & so well done!!
This was so fab, please do more of these in the future. Love hearing all the behind the scenes stories. Thanks Michief for making people laugh during this horrid situation!
Would love more of these videos. Loved the TV show and Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Still to see the other shows but definitely will. Just fantastic work from you guys.
The physical comedy in this one was superb. Ruffles was clearly four feet of engineering. It was also a damn (beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep) work of creativity.
Have to say having watched a few of the shows live that you really did some super innovative stuff with the TV specials using camera style that wouldn't be possible in a theatre. Looking forward to isolation end and seeing more of the shows in person in Manchester
the first 'goes wrong' i saw was peter pan. it was hilarious. you see reviews of some shows saying 'hilarious', side'splittingly funny' etc. when none of that is true. but the peter pan was truly hilarious, i had never laughed out loud so much for a long time. it must take so much work to make sure things do go wrong and not go right. well done to all
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like there is some of the 90 Degrees Goes Wrong Along missing. The video seems to end abruptly after about 7 mins and the goes along video is not finished watching the play yet. Is there a second video to this that has the rest of the video?
@@vii6429 Every other 'Goes Wrong Along #WithMe' they talk to the end of the play. I really wanted to hear something about the upside down room in this play, and why wouldn't they talk about that scene at all? Plus the white screen was very sudden. I still think that part of this was cut off.
@@eronaay oh really? This is the first Goes Wrong along with me I've watched, sorry😅😅 I actually found this channel very recently. But yeah, the white screen did seem a bit sudden, and like he was gonna keep talking but they cut him off. I'm jot sure where we could find the full version of this, though...
Charlie taking inspiration from Jodie Foster is interesting to me, because I think she sounds just like Holly Hunter. And I'm actually from Tennessee! Which reminds me: nobody calls it "iced tea" or "beers," and it's not the "Deep South." But since this is Mischief, I suspect that was on purpose.
Thank you for the laughs. Watched this the first time last night & gave me a much needed good laugh. As an ex-Performing Arts student I’m amazed by & love the work you guys & girls do. Makes me want to get back into the acting game!
Easily the one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. These guys are a breath of fresh air in a climate of either rude or political bashing so called comedy they deliver with incredible timing, hysterical slapstick and genuinely funny comedy which always leaves me wanting more.
Oh, I didn't think of Jody Foster (probably because she was born in LA and graduated from Yale, so is herself faking a West Virginia accent in Silence). I was hearing Holly Hunter's lishpy Georgia accent, instead.
@@johnking5174 That’s unfortunate. But the gang are on broadway now doing Peter Pan Goes Wrong. And it’s getting lots of coverage, including The New York Times
@@johnking5174 Aw no, say it isn't so. 😢😢 Pen and paper ready to sign a petition to bring back Goes Wrong - by far the funniest thing on tv in the last 20 years.
Yo descubrí este show hace apenas unos meses, y hace muuuucho tiempo no me reía tanto. Me vi todos los capítulos prácticamente en una sola sentada. Ojalá hiceran millones más. Gracias por las risas. Y Charlie es simplemente bellísima.
This reminds me of Shaun Micallef, the master of the tilted room. He never had any explanation for it in his sketches; it was like gravity had just spontaneously malfunctioned. Check out some of his work- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8-ewKxGqy2g.html
6:12 - This scene confuses me. If the floor is behind Henry's back (as evidenced by the glasses, etc, on the wall), why do the actor's legs fly out as though the floor was the 'fourth wall'? Couldn't he have just shimmied a little bit further on his side, and took the handle?
I think Max is trying to make it look like he’s walking upright. There’s a great payoff later in the episode where Sandra just gives up and walks out on the “wall” (making it look like she’s sideways).
Years late... but It is indeed hard to "walk" while lying on the side. The first step is always the easy one, but then you have to (without any help from your hands), manage to put the leg that is closer to the floor, in "front" of you, And since he "can't" (because he is still resembling to walk) put the other leg up, he has to "push" himself, ending as he was "falling" to the fourth wall.... Hard to explain, but try it. =P
It feels like this one cuts off too early. It's obviously shorter than the other Wrong Along episodes, but it also feels like it just ends abruptly when it shouldn't have. What's up with that?
when jonathan was saying to his dog 'do a dog noise, do a dog noise' my dog came running through and sat barking right into my ear! im a bit late but thanks for these videos, everything you do is brilliant and hilarious! i would love to join you guys when im older (that would be a feat to join you, all your skills are unimaginable!)
