I love how the camera movement is so natural, although the car model is not perfect the 60fps and natural camera movement make this game replays so special even for today's standards , Games like Forza ,PC2, Asseto the movement of camera is so linear and robotic even their good modeling and detail looks weird.
YES! That's the strange, sickening thing about how this game, in specific aspects, looks as good if not better than today's stuff! Even the best ever, while counting realism!
I remember I would try and match the cars from the previews shown of the track and try to reenact them. I really love how the reverse tracks were at a different time of day too !
@@suntzurok7886 It is not extremely hard, depends on a car but 370hp evo is easy to drive here on hard tires. Time around 5 minutes and 6 seconds takes almost no effort, it is possible on the first 2 or 3 attempts
@@ITSMRFOXY sorry for being late.... To unlock circuits in arcade mode you need to get first in the circuits that you have( hard to unlock cars) once you beat that, u unlock new circuits, also u can check your progress in the bonus menú(bonificación)
This game will always be special to me. Even if i didn't play much of it. Because, this is the earliest memory that i can remember of me, not only racing, but playing games in general.
So many core memories. What a game. Graphics significantly ahead of its time. I remember having that ridiculous red susuzki enormous rear spoiler, cranking it up with special unlocks that got it to 400kmph or something like that lol. The power was maxed out and steering couldnt be lower, was like turning a 3 tonne vehicle without a powersteering pump lol
Surely enough this is a very exciting amount of tracks. Sure, there's less real life circuits than in GT4, but it makes up for its wide array of Original tracks we all know and love (Although Autumn Ring seems to be missing), packed with the no-nonsense racing experience on that track.
This is where my love for the Viper came from. Also I remember being 5 or so and just looking at the course selection because I thought they were mesmerizing (still do)
Did you know mid field raceway has an extended version on the Japanese version showing the diablo at the start, but it cuts it out on the european version
Yeah. I just hope GT7 brings back most of these old original tracks to balance out the new ones. Midfield, Seattle, Tokyo R246, Grand Valley, SS Route 5, Clubman SS Route 5, Deep Forest, Laguna Seca, Apricot, Deep Forest, Tahiti. Swiss. Smokey. Cote D Azur, Rome Circuit. Seoul Central. SS Route 11 Bring all those classic top tracks from the first GT1-4 back. Then use the new ones from GT Sport. Then you have the perfect GT game. GT7 please don't let us down, Polyphony Digital. Just met Kaz Yama last Summer at GT World Tour NY for GT Sport Esports tournament at Playstation Theatre in Times Sq. Havent played GT since 3-4 on PS2. Skipped Sport but I'm ready for GT7 on PS5!
@@Melbester9 im 100%behind you on this one. Idk why polyphony keeps trying to change a formula which is pretty much perfect And let's hope the music makes a return as well the amazing presentation and ui
@@travosk8668 Yeah. I don't get it either. The new tracks in Sport aren't great except a couple of them. The original tracks are too iconic and enjoyable for fans that it resembles why Gran Turismo is the legendary driving sim franchise that it is today. I can't wait to play Trial Mountain on GT7 for my PS5. I don't even have a racing game for my PS4. Test Course should return too. Twin Ring Motegi. Autumn Ring and El Capitan as well. Even Fuji Speedway, Suzuka Circuit and Nurbureing were in GT4-Sport, bring those back. Someone in another GT track video for GT4 said that Polyphony won't bring back Seattle back due to architectural reasons. Which I don't get why? How so?
My favorite tracks in this gameDeep Forest Raceway I and IISpecial Stage Route 5Tahiti CircuitTahiti MazeTrial Mountain CircuitLaguna Seca RacewaySpecial Stage Route 11Grand Valley Speedway II
Imagine loving this game and thinking all the tracks are fake as a kid, only to find out that Laguna Seca and Monaco are real. It'd be like finding out Santa was real all along.
@Houki Chan yeah, i got the ntsc j version. In the events where u can get pagani zonda race car on some events (It was only Professional All Japan league and mistral laps endurance) in ntsc u ver, it was diablo instead in ntsc j. U can only acquire zonda race car on italian avant grande event in ntsc j ver.
Too Bad We never saw Super Speedway & Smokey Mountain & Special Stage Route 11 & Tahiti Circuit in The Next Gran Turismo Series Well,Rome only disappeared in Gran Turismo 4 and return in Gran Turismo 5
Yeah I know, it was a bummer how Special Stage Route 11 wasn't in Gran Turismo 2 nor on Gran Turismo 4, it would've been awesome seeing them on those games, you know?
Win at least 1 race on all the tracks in an Area (doesn't matter if Easy/Normal/Pro) to unlock the next area If you do Pro to unlock the cars it'll unlock the lower-difficulty gates
Leon Blake You have to win a race in each of the tracks you have available on any difficulty. Check the clear status option in the menu to track your progress :)
@@Adam63545 Thank you so much I've nearly completed all the tracks. I think the best tracks are Laguna Sea Raceway, Tahiti Circuit Rally & Seattle Circuit Reverse. And the best cars. Escort Rally car,Falcon RX 8 Race car & 787B :)
There are areas marked as A-F. Win all races on Hard difficulty on Area A before you can unlock Area B. Win all races on Hard difficulty on Area B then you can proceed to Area C. And so on.
You unlock them in bloocks of 5(Area B-F) by winning through the previous Area(iirc you only need to win through in Easy but winning in the other difficulties unlocks cars)
