Even in the earliest days of the Grand Theft Auto series, Rockstar never slowed up with secrets and Easter Eggs. Today we are checking out GTA 3 secret locations that I can bet most of you have never been to before...
And well, that's because most of these locations are actually GTA 3 cutscene interiors. Meaning that outside of cutscenes, you can't normally access them. With the help of GTA mods however, we are able to take a look
at these secret interiors in GTA 3 and give you an in-depth look at some GTA 3 secrets that you have never seen before!

Because it's intended to be a cutscene. It has a higher graphical quality than the rest of the game, thus its integration would make it noticeable that the graphics weren't as good as they could be.

@@thearousedeunuch I understand your point but it doesnt make sense. Almost all cutscenes are like that... and all of them are IN the game... I just find it stupid on Rockstar not to inciude it...

@@WaffleCore87 It does. You probably needed a good PC back in 2001 to run the game the way it is... imagine what specs it would need if the whole world had cutscene textures on it. They do that for performance reasons (or other reasons such as time constraints).

@@thearousedeunuch Dude... Im 31 years old. I was running this on 2 PCs. First PC specs were: GeForce 2 with 32 megs of ram, AMD CPU @ 650mhz and 256 megs of system ram. GTA3 was running almost fine until too many objects were on screen. The othe PC had GeForce 4Ti with 64 megs of VRAM, AMD @ 1GHz and again with 256 system ram... It ran perfect. My point is it didnt require that much... All u need back then was 64 megs of video ram. Literally any toaster with such device could run it. Wait... maybe Im wrong after all... 64 vram in that year was new... Altho I still think they couldve added it anyway.

@@WaffleCore87 I'm 23 years old. I was young when this game came out (I didn't own a PC). Still, if they did that it would be hard to improve graphical quality in GTA: Vice City and San Andreas.

Man , Nostaglia hit me hard this month of October , because I remember buying this game the day it came out of October 2001 , 17 years ago.. , there was no pre orders , no one queuing for the game , and no anticipation, no one really knew what Grand theft auto was back then , I was one of the OGs straight up , I witnessed the rise of GTA , while all these little 18 year old bitches only know GTA because of San Andreas pfffff

1 & 2 were my first GTA games, from the farting & burping to being super stoked when this one came out; funny thing is I was in elementary for all these up until Vice City & San Andreas I was in middle school by then. I fell off video games by high school and didn’t play another GTA game until the 5th can’t wait for the 6th🔥

As a huge GTA fan, this was AWESOME!!! Used to be the only way to get a good look inside the first safe-house was to get the sniper's rifle. Walk up close to the door, and zoom in. So nice being able to get a much better look. Thank you.

I'm a pretty skilled dodo pilot, i also tried getting inside the ghost town, tunnels, observatory, construction floors and have gotten in the stadium and the secret staunton island sign... i remember that nostalgic feeling everytime i go exploring in gta 3, just a peaceful investigation...

Yep. That's how they were able to make MTA. It's a "mod" that enables multiplayer in gta3, vc and san andreas. Devs left some unused crude multiplayer code in the game and mods used that to build a multiplayer client thing. It was very basic for gta3, then they added some cool stuff on gtavc and gtasa had races and a lot of other cool stuff. The mtasa community is still active to this day.

@@fullmetaljacket7 Lol on the sever where i played we had Lagshot Hitbox and Shotguns biggest Damage was 49 or 50 not many cases with Deagle you needed 3 Shots to kill a 100hp Player and with armor for the Cops 5 shots with deagle. You also had to be pretty skilled at deagling

MendezPresents good times! Lol what I hated about the shotgun was that it would lay you on the ground on the first shot. You could never get up unless the other guy stopped shooting. I think some servers disabled that knockout animation or whatever but by that time I was already moving to gta 4

That chamber that you fall into from Kenji's rooftop is probably used to create the reflections in the pool water. When you see the wall being reflected on the pool you're actually looking through a translucent texture into that chamber.

I'm sure you already know this, but the mission (silence the sneak) you kill the crooked cop McCaffrey whom is another character you do missions for in GTA LCS. When playing as Toni in LCS, Mcaffery eventually introduces you to another cop named Ray who is the same man who orders claude to kill MCaffrey 3 years later in the events of GTA 3.

Regarding Fort Staunton building site: I propably tried to fly a Dodo over there but can't remember. However, there was a mod where you had a Tommy Vercetti skin in LC and started at Portland with a Bike and a Helicopter so I explored the place 100%. The others, not so much so great you featured them.

The dune buggy in joeys garage is the bf injection. It’s a real car in all versions of the game. You find it outside Misty’s apartment at night, after beating the mission sayonara Salvatore. It’s joeys car, and he visits his girlfriend misty every night. It’s not an unused beta vehicle, in fact you need to take it to one of the import export garages in order to get 100% in the game.

I accidentally fell through the ground at the Shoreside Vale Pay N Spray, once. I hadn't placed the car quite fully into the garage, but the shutter came down through the trunk of the car and, when it lifted, the game glitched and sent the car falling through the ground and into a black void. I thought I was going to have to reset the game, but after about ten seconds I emerged in Portland, near 8-Ball's bomb shop. Got a huge insane stunt bonus.

12:57 - that's a BF Injection (Beach Buggy). It's in GTA LCS located down the beach near Salvatore Leone's mansion, then in GTA VCS located in the middle of the long beach (for beach side missions)

FYI: Those magazines on the floor of the first safe house show up there after you do that XXX magazine mission where I believe you're collecting bundles of them with a van. As for glitches, use the 'cars jump' cheat to get a car on top of the hospital roof. Then wedge the car into the corner. It'll start getting taken through the wall and under the map. But it usually stops just before then. Jump out and you'll be on top of the tunnel between the islands with the ground as the sky and vice versa. Although I believe that's what you did in that first couple seconds of this video as that's what it looked like when I did that glitch on the PS2 back in the day.

I wonder what's the reason behind not making those secret areas solid? Was it to save memory/cpu or something else? Shouldn't be too hard to tell that those objects should be solid.

It’s actually pretty easy to get to the top of the Donal Love building without mods. On PS2, my friend and I would get there using the flying cars/low gravity cheat along with the better handling cheat, then we’d fly the tank there.

One of things I hate about GTA III is the fact that developers were so lazy to put some roof textures and normal solid ground inside of the stadium, "better performance" yeah right!

I played GTA3 a while ago on the PS2 and using the Dodo plane I managed to land on Kenji's Casino. I've never used mods. Though I'd love to get to Donald Love's garden you see on the cutscenes on Staunton.

You can also jump to the back of the Portland safehouse and if you do it right it won't trigger the save. Additionally you can fly the dodo and go inside the shoreside Vale safehouse.

Interestingly in the mobile version the lighthouse is really detailed you can walk without slipping anywhere,the stairs feel real and the door is there you can go though the door and there's nothing inside but it's still Interesting that rockstar had some nice changes to the lighthouse in 10th anniversary version

You can pretty much explore everything without any kind of mods , just glitches. Theres every glitch to get in every single interior in here except construction site , you need mods there.

I think you can get inside the safe houses by jumping around..doing so will not trigger the save dialogue but you have to keep jumping..i believe this doesnt work on the mobile version
