Over one hour of pure golden era San Francisco graffiti, all the greats and many who are no longer with us. This footage from Chris Burns captures what it was really like walking around San Francisco in 1998, the classic spots, rooftops, underpasses, roll-down doors and more. This is who was up and running, and you'll see all the greats. It was a great time to be alive and getting up.

The level of skill coming from kids who were late teens/early 20’s at the time is astounding.

We were out there with kids as young as 14-15 hitting serious spots and illegal pieces. Kokes and Tase come immediately to mind.

Best place and era for graff. I was blessed to see the Krush piece in Haight Ashbury and twist throw ups back in the 90s.
