The further you moved left the better you got it off your hand. With the 3 step what I noticed is you had a great amount of leverage on the execution, and your ball roll looked phenomenal! Definitely rewatch your footage and you can just see the hand position at the bottom of the swing. Kudos to you sir!

I just recently got a Zen Pearl and I'm loving it. First 3 games were 180, 233 and 233! Loving your videos Luis.

Definitely need a comparison with the phaze 2. That is the spot that the Zen soul will have to compete for in most bags. Tough task. Although, the soul and P2 are different shapes, they are not different enough to carry both in my bag. The Helios is good but p2 is better. Zen master is decent but p2 is better. The P2 has pretty much held that spot for 6-7 years. This ball has potential to give it a run for it's money.

You always look beast mode on the lanes when I come here from watching something else and forget I have it on 1.25x speed 😂

Luis, thanks for a the new comp with the hybrid. Last week I used the Zen for the first time and it was awesome. I couldn’t believe how much angle I could play. I was the “dog” for the first few games then became the “hydrant” 😂

Wow Zen ball good. In every other review of the Soul I have seen it looks insane. This helped me realized how good the original Zen really was. Ive never used it only heard its amazing.

I picked up a Zen yesterday, first game out of the box 298, yanked the last one lol. Oh man is it smooth and nice.

The OG Zen was my first ball of the series. I bowled my highest game a few weeks ago of 235 with it. I decided to get a benchmark ball for the fresh, and bought the zen master. First game out of the pro shop I bowled a 235 with the Zen Master on my birthday. I went ahead and ordered a Zen Soul. Now I have my game 1, 2, and 3 balls. I love the 900 Global Zen series!

I am throwing both of them plus the zen master in my league as of last week. Like them a lot

Hey Luis, love your videos, they have been very helpful to me. I'm getting back into bowling after a 20 year hiatus and am wanting to start building my arsenal. Based on one of your older videos I watched when I started researching, I bought a Venom Shock as my first ball back in the game (the last one I had was a Brunswick Zone Pro if that tells you anything!). I've been very pleased with the results thus far (league avg is 182 and that's after a terrible first week, with games of 205, 222 and 256 the last few weeks). I want to start building around it and really like what I see in the Zen Pearl and Zen Soul. Are the Shock and the Soul different enough to have both in my bag?...or should I get the Zen Pearl over the Soul?

So many 7 pins on good shots, I wonder if it’s a bit off the spot. These 2 balls are so good, and loved to see that the 4k fast finish on the zen still seems to work a well as the previous polished finish.

Hi Luis, great comparison video! I am a high speed medium rev bowler and I currently am throwing these balls for league per your recommendations (Alpha crux, Zen, Hustle Camo). I am looking for something with a fresh cover to replace my Alpha Crux for heavy oil as it doesn't seem to drive as hard on fresh (over 5 years old). What do you feel would be the best option available to replace my Alpha with? I am between a Gem, Reality, and a Proton Physix but am open to ideas. Thank you!

Got a zen and zen master, definitely have to give zen the nod because it was carrying strikes for me that had no business striking back when I first got it and didn't throw the ball very well. I'm not sure if I'll be on the soul bandwagon, at least not in the near future, but I'm glad it's getting rave reviews.

Hey Luis! I've been confident with my trio of the Reality, Altered, then the zen the last part of the block most league nights! Do you think the Soul would fill a gap? You think it's earlier and smoother then the Altered? What you do is much appreciated, I'm very impressed with your comparisons and explanations.

I too want to see the Nova comparison. I love the Nova, and I think I'm going to love the Soul, but will there be too much overlap to have them both in the same bag?

I know the Trend 2 is discontinued, but it would be interesting to see how it compares to the Soul.

I have a Zen, but i absolutely hate it compared to how much I love my Axiom Pearl. Out of the box the angle off the pattern was never right as i left a lot of ping 10's and 4's. Put some surface on it and now it just pukes. Probably will try to plug and drill it differently as it is still basically new. As much as everybody loves it i feel like i can't give up on it yet.

Can you do a surface change video with the soul?

That’s not bowling for you. That’s the Zen smacking hard and sharp on entry. It looks flush in the pocket, but it’s actually hitting high.

I think the Zen won? The Soul looked lazy from too far left but I think they both looked similarly good from straight.
