Syxe island is a perfect example of either why games should or SHOULD NOT have a sandbox mode, depending on which side of the fence you are standing on. Its also the perfect example of when a island is done and you should move on, after 9000 years Maybe just maybe its time for a new island to flatten!
Captain of Industry is a construction and management simulation game where you and your loyal crew escaped to an abandoned island to start a new colony after the world has spiralled into chaos. In order to survive, you will need to mine raw materials, harvest food, build factories, manufacture products, construct vehicles, research new technologies, and explore your surroundings. If you are successful, you can even start a space program, build rockets, and assemble your own space station! With all that power and technology, you might be even able to end the world chaos. It's all in your hands.

When I was making the Golden Peak map, I have intentionally made the gold mountain so big and deep that it would be (in my eyes) virtually impossible to completely mine out. Well, turns out Syxe proved me wrong. Congrats Syxe for an amazing base and thanks JD for the tour! I can't wait until the community will get their hands on the map editor that we are working on.

Retourning to bricks in Construction is tbh one of my favourite late game moves. I think theres is just something poetic about using the citizens poo to build the citizens houses. I think that ja fits the late game sustainability phase of the game billiantly and just wish, that were some sort of advanced brick plant that cold be fueld with gas.

Oh yeah, the brick conversion. I was considering that for my map, but it's a lot of fiddling with things for so little gains. Much easier to just dump it into sea and eat that little bit of pollution...

I'd say the bricks are genius taking a resource that isn't that useful and turning it into 2 useful resources (coal and limestone)

So what I find that I am liking a lot about this game is that you can essentially keep going forever, as you can trade for resources. Question for anyone, do we know of a good place where I can download various cities that others have built? I like to explode what other do.
