BMW's aren't great at launching from stop lights. They're not bad, but not great. The GTR is well known to have an amazing launch system in it. The M5 will still be fast round a track and very fun in general though. RWD bimmers are just not great at launch for obvious reasons. They are however amazing at delivering huge power in a consistant flow.

Theres no way that m5 has 900hp. I have a f10 550 with a s63tu motor which is the new m5 motor with upgraded intercoolers, intake, exhaust, 2 37mm garret turbos and i make 687 to the wheel. No way this thing has 900 and gets walked on by a stock gtr. Also seems like his stability control kicks on when the back left loses grip. Looks like an f10 m5 with exhaust and a rookie when it comes to drag racing
