The curls you get with the flat iron aren't the same size as the ones with the rollers. Though it allow the strands to have and a bit of heat before cooling down on the roller, I don't see a lot of other benefits from this method. But you know that's my wild guess. I'm curious, and wanna keep an open mind. 🧐
Good point! That's going to have an effect on the results. I'll also keep that in mind if I decide to buy rollers instead of using pins or my mom's smaller rollers :D
