my bins were doing the exact thing; we had only two rows of clothes and all hard goods; definitely, like 20 rows in total and 6 bins per row, I was pissed. great haul! I love wooden ships and I agree they do take 3 months to sell but over $30 every time & yes to the Y2K baby phat jacket; sold one on Depop for $90 once. awesome on the quick sales!
Dang :( You're in Texas right? Time to start dabbling in hard goods more I GUESS lol. And the hard goods people are even more intense than the clothing resellers IMO
I was at the Vancouver bins Thurs 11/16 and there were clothing bins across the back, all down the outer sides and all down the front with more rows of bins in the middle . The rotations were fast and consistent. Congrats on your awesome finds in such a challenging day
It really depends on the piece. I leave behind most free people I find at the bins. I'll pick up more substantial pieces and some can take a few months to sell. It's always a gamble lol
I totally know what you are talking about I have been struggling to get my weight for the past few weeks. I went today. I think I saw you but you looked busy. Saturdays are always crazy. I don't know what the issue is. They announced that they are doing rotations everyday till I think 5 but I am never there that late. I am still finding good stuff for myself and my wholesale buyers but it's definitely different lately.
I was there today! I thought I saw you too but I wasn't sure lol. I was there for 5 hours and managed to scrounge up 30 lbs. It has been a little different lately for sure!
I am in the portland area and was at the bins the other day for three hours and they never did ANY rotations of clothes or shoes. They only rotated linens/blankets, books and hard goods once the entire time I was there. Crazy! So I stopped at a regular GW on my way home and they had Madewell jeans for $29.99, an Eileen Fisher wool jacket for $39.99, Sorel boots for $49.99, etc. WTF??????
I found a drizzabone long oiled ranch field coat at my bins a year ago no one looked at it because it was heavy I sold it on eBay for 125.00 in less than a week
The cap game you have goes for so much!! Bc its like a mismatch of two games i cant remember what game reseller i watched that sold those recently. Do you ever go to the bins to take clothes to buy sell trade stores?
