My first of nearly 50 games at Texas Stadium. I was 13 years old. At the beginning of the season I filled out a form for free Cowboys tickets at a local auto parts store in my dad’s name. The day before this game they called to tell him he won. They even gave us hats and t-shirts. We were way up at the top of the second deck surrounded by Saints fans that were chanting “Chi-Ching”. It was a great memory.
This game and day is best remembered as the day it was announced that Dallas lost one of its two newspapers, The Dallas Times-Herald. This was officially announced locally via an on-screen scroll during the game. The paper published its final issue the next day ("Goodbye, Dallas").
@@boomer7485 He’s not a Hall Of Fame Tight End. The only ignorance I see here is you. Less than 500 catches & 30 TD’s, yes you are so right those are hall of fame numbers.🙄🙄
