Hey Chris. I met you through the World and you were so kind to send me a piece I needed off a donor car you had for my 914/6 resto. Just wanted to say thanks again and to tell you how much I am enjoying this production you have going. Fantastic video and editing skills, not to mention fabrication and design.... this channel is going to blow up and the Ferrari 914 is going to be the bomb! Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Glad I could help with your /6 restoration and really happy to hear you're enjoying the build! Stay tuned for what I hope you'll agree is some pretty cool stuff...
Wow Chris, didn't know you had a channel, you are still cranking out beautiful stuff. I really enjoyed meeting you and your other 914 enthusiasts that one time years ago. Subscribed!
Thanks for the nice compliment and for watching! How's the Lancia coming? That's such a cool car. And let me know if you're in the area - it'd be great to see you and catch up.
@@attheredbarn1669 I'm getting around to working on the Lancia again. More videos will ensue. We got a house in Monterey County so I'm even further from you now but would enjoy staying in touch! I really love how artistic and creative your solutions are and how you will flesh out several options.
Thanks and no worries. Most important is your feedback! I'm new to documenting w/video so still settling into a rhythm and a style for the channel. Please keep the comments and input coming; it'll help me improve! Thanks again for watching.
RU-vid just showed me your page since I love car builds and I watched everything so far and subscribed. I dream of the day I have room for my own plasma table! Looking forward to more!
Hey Thomas, big thanks for subscribing. I have an episode coming up that focuses on the plasma table. Let me know what you think of that one and feel free to ask any questions about it. Take care!
Loving this series! Your design process and metal fab skills are top notch. I'm really impressed with all the trick stuff you are doing like the recessed flush mount bottom bolt. Everything looks really rock solid. Can't wait for the next episode!
I did not. My buddy, Martin, did them. He regularly helps me on my builds: bouncing around ideas, helping/doing some of the fab, etc. You'll see him in the videos, every so often.
@@attheredbarn1669 up to Episode 15, great stuff. I can see that you carry an overall mental picture in your head and do a lot of trial fitting of various components. You also keep moving between components to keep things interesting and not get too far ahead of yourself, but as you finalize the headers say, could you explain how you think about all the plumbing and wiring that need to get into and across the engine bay? What about the totality of bracing and triangulation. Will the car have heat and cooling?
@@merckxamillian Heat for sure, probably not A/C. I'll add some more explaination about your other questions in upcoming episodes. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Chris, we chatted briefly at a BCR event at Gundlach winery. I drove a blue '62 Alfa Giulietta spider that day. Loved your first 914 and I'm interested in a 914/Alfa V-6 swap. I live in Sonoma and was wondering if you have a minute to talk or email or? Thx! Richie
