I really love that you and Lori take care of the kitties and get them ready to go to forever homes. A very enjoyable snippet before jumping to car stuff. I think your videos of all of the work you do is so beneficial to the 914 community as it allows all of us to see what is possible. It's the prefect example of "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time". I can't wait until the next time my brother and I are able to make it over to the Red Barn. We will bring my car and I promise we will leave with it this time. Cheers Chris. I for one think that the kitty content might be the thing that ends up growing the channel. Everything else is already here - great work, style and creativity - it just needed something extra. Something cute is an excelent choice. The fact that it was just going on until you let us see the adorableness makes it even more magical.
Well, hopefully SOMETHING will get the channel to grow! I'm doing it mostly to document my builds so when the cars get put up for sale, I can point at all this and say "Here's total transparency. You can see everthing that went into it." But I'll confess, it'd be nice to see some bigger numbers! Ego, right? Thanks for watching and commenting!

Thanks for the kind words. I don't think there's any substantial manual but the good news is that it's all very straight forward. Renegade has a number of videos and they provided me really good customer service whenever I had a question. But remember, I modded most every part of their kit...
You could use a proper cold air intake. It seems it’s right in the middle of all the heat exhaust triangle and up high where the heat rises. Also you have plenty of room to put a proper lift in. A two post to maneuver other projects around or a 4 post on casters plus you’ll have stacked parking when you’re all finished
I'm with you on the cold air intake. Just haven't come up with a design I like. My shop is just under 1000 sq. ft. and I really don't want to sacrifice space for a larger lift. Seems I'm willing to put up with some extra work for that. Plus, we have some ideas for the QuickJack. And thanks for watching/commenting!
I love the clear span floor and that I can move things around, a car can be up on the Quick Jack and I'm not losing space to the lift, I can park over it, etc.But a 2-post would certainly be easier. I am thinking about a MaxJack so I can move it out of the way when it's not in use.
10:30 Could you possibly find a way to operate the jack contraption from the other side and orient it so that both operations move the car the same way?
That may be a solution. I need to update it since it doesn't really roll too well with a drivetrain on it so I'll look into that when I get to it! Thanks for looking out for me!
