I wonder how long he's played because he always makes it seem like he just picked up the bass one day in his teens but he plays like a very well rounded and seasoned bass player. I love standing on the left side at their concerts so that I can actually hear the bass, not a lot of people are playing like him right now. I love it.
I noticed how enthusiastic each of them is when it comes to talking about the musical stuffs in the interviews.. Really enjoyable to see such musicians!
Hard to really say. They're all good. What's interesting is that, when playing live, you can sometimes hear Jake and Same make mistakes. And they've talked about it too. Although they're good, you know, they're still at a point in this career where that happens man. It's just natural. As far as skill. I wouldn't say Sam is SIGNIFICANTLY better than anyone else lol. It's hard to project/make that assumption.
Really love how he tells us how fun it is to play in Greta Van Fleet, despite having the song very difficult, it kinda reflects mine. As a Guitarist (first was a bassist but changed to guitar), I would say that it is indeed fun with what they do live or non-live. My band, on the other hand always do live and not by video which is why it is fun. I'm just 14 who joined a band just a year (and got officially got into the role of a guitarist last month) so Sam's thoughts are basically why I'm officially in a band.
He has joy and enthusiasm for his playing! If the other two brothers are like this then I get why they’re so successful now! Fun Cool young guy! Not jaded, cynical or bored in fact the opposite! Good for him!
Before famous,my wife and I took a trip to Frankemuth,Mi. A Christmas town year round. Went to the tourist office asked what was new in town, this little old lady gave me cheese coupon said they had an up and coming band.Honestly, I turn my head rolled my eyes. Its a polka town Boy was I wrong! Apologies..to the little old lady. Madonna born next town over.
Sam feels very adhd lol. The way he explains things and goes through it in his head reminds me of how I get when I’m explaining something I’m interested in lol.
I was just thinking the same thing lol. He’s like my brother where if you get him talking about his interests he will just go on and on and into detail. Same with josh. Love to see people light up when they get to explain their special interests lol.
i believe in an interview with Karen ( the boy’s mom) she confirmed that both the twins have either ADHD or ADD i can’t remember which but both the boys have it. i’m pretty sure it has been mentioned in sam but im not 100% positive on him.
The hottest music teacher EVER!!! So enthusiastic! A love of music for sure. I don't even know how to read music, nothing! So thanks for the lesson, Sammy!
More and more bands must take inspiration from the best era of modern Music : the 60 70 and 80's!!!! rock funk disco soul new wave pop ...there is so musch masterpieces to take inspiration from!!!
not only is his sound on Sam's bass probably set to how he usually has it got shows, but the bass in his hands is modified because it's a jazz neck that is attached to a precision bass body and in his words "the neck just popped right in and didn't have to be shaved or anything" according to his video on rig rundown
Je partage à fond votre enthousiasme pour la basse et je vous remercie pour cette video, Greta van fleet remets à l'honneur le Rock des années 70 and it's Amazing !!
@@Smog.hater.420 highway tune sounds 100% like a zeppelin song but Josh has so much more range than that. the similarity catches your ear for sure at first but they're their own thing and I wish they got more credit for songs like edge of darkness that DON'T sound like zeppelin songs
I was the 666th like on this video and not to be dramatic or anything but what kinda ritual could one perform to get Sam in their bed/heart, asking for a friend
