When the Homies Monk and Old Man spoke on Centinella Park , it brought back memories as a child of my mom taking me and my siblings there back in the late 60's -early 70's every weekend . The Homies touched on a lot of subjects that i know about..not as being there personally but by growing up as a young kid in that era and area . Not to take anything from the other but don't let Monk fool you by his aging..cuz speak facts , i know him and been in his presence back in the days on numerous occasions . They also attended Western Avenue Elementary, which is located between 54th and 53rd Street on Western Avenue. This area was home to the 56 Syndicates Crips and the Van Ness Boys back in the late sixties and early seventies.
