@@triumphthunderbird1 yeah especially when cornet scored we were class just a shame we’re shit and ended up losing but Leeds fans were exceptional especially for home fans 👏
Excellent Vlog and I have Subscribed and I am a 67-year-old Londoner, in his 60th year of attending matches. That was really impressive the way you captured the atmosphere and I am glad you kept it going so we could see the final rapport between players and fans..
This really captures the alternating tension and ecstasy in the atmosphere. What non Leeds fans don't realise watching it is we are the only club with in effect two 'kops' ie both ends singing so whichever end we re attacking the wall of noise is right there plus there is no hiding place for away team players and can be very intimidating for their less experienced players .
What a class video! Some great songs and chants from the Leeds faithful and the atmosphere for away sides must be very intimidating! As a Rovers fan, I loved it every time you guys belittled the Inbreeds by mentioning us lmao and even more so when you put 3 past them. I've got, "Blackburn going up and Burnley going down", stuck in my head now, thanks for thats Leeds, I love it 😊
@@mrnobody4237 I play football on a regular basis , at least twice a week , however I don’t go to stadium to drink beer in the breaks , shout , swear , put my finger up and then call it brilliant !
@@mrnobody4237 funny but I dont have playstation or xbox, I play football as a sport, I dont go to a stadium sit on my arse , drink beer and swear for 90 min non stop....
Awesome video! Really loved the "i predict a riot" song/chant in the end. I don't know if it's a usual thing to do after a match at Elland Road, since tv in Greece doesn't cover it, but it was thrilling. Loved the young lad blowing kisses in the end also! Marching on together even from Greece! Take care!
First class ladies and gentlemen 🏐 brilliant match today Elland Road atmosphere was first class as always chants Top notch we are the best in the world Elland Road never looses it's Atmosphere 🔥🇮🇨🦚🏟️👏 win, loose or draw, brilliant keep Up the good work in Mr Bielsa we trust, Leeds are staying Up 🙏🤍💛💙🇦🇷🇮🇨👏🏟️✊🏐 All Leeds aren't we, Marching on together Up the Peacocks 🦚
I'd say Elland Road, Villa park, and Molinuex in the premier league, are the only grounds what still got the nucleus of the old school traditional Atmosphere. The rest are shit, Anfeild and St James park are overated By the mass media and themselves. My own ground the Etihad is god Awful. Nothing on Maine Road, although City fans are pretty good Away from home as it's More your hardcore. Now as an exile Mancunian I lived in Leeds for a while Armley and Morley. My biggest concern if I was a Leeds fan, if they get more success on the pitch they extend Elland Road The more corporates and daytrippers you will attract. Oh yes I can hear Leeds fans now saying it will never happen to us. No a lot of City fans said that when we left Maine Road in 2003 to Eastlands now the Etihad. A lot of them same City fans have sadly been priced out. Or those that can afford to go. Simply don't go because the Atmosphere at home is shit or just go to Aways because its better, food for thought.
You're not wrong, but it's a double-edged sword, if Leeds want to improve, grow and compete at the top they need to increase their revenue stream, a new stadium with increased capacity would certainly help in that regard, let's just hope it doesn't cost the club its soul.
@@Dogs-of-war Correct it wouldn't do if premier league Clubs put tickets down to a affordable level. The TV deal Is worth 5 to 7 Billion between 20 Clubs plus sponsorship and all the trimmings. Merchandise catering side and match programmes on the day. The dearest ticket to go and watch City back in 1992 was 11 pound that today with inflation is around 20 Pound. But yet your paying 30,40 odd 50 odd and way above that with London clubs. Not just premier league clubs what are guilty of this. It's had a knock on effect to championship, the lower leagues even to none league clubs some of the prices are steep.
If Leeds became as successful as City (which we won't) within five or ten years our atmosphere would just be bog standard, because of the corporate stuff, but mainly because it would be attracting a lot more 'new fans' who want to watch them compete against the best. Resulting in a shit atmosphere, just the same as all the 'top clubs' really. No two ways about it, I'd much rather stay under the radar and have a cracking atmosphere home and away.
@@mrnobody4237 The thing is you should be Able to have charge the corporates are fortune they can afford. But for the hardcore working class support. It should be 25 pound for adults tops for any game that is. Under 20s 15 pound and for under 15s 10 pound, and under fives Five pound.
This is just amazing and one of the most important wins. What a great video that is! And what a new yars gift. Leeds United are😎 back from sickness, and really looks fresh. Keep up the very great video-work. I just love it!! Happy new year to you all from Horten, Norway🤩💥⚽
@@jaredgarbo3679 He was just letting him know. Wouldn't you rather know the right words to a song you were chanting with others? Or would you be happy just making up the words as you go along?
@@jaredgarbo3679 So right. Walking on together, we're going to see you win, lose or draw, we're so ashamed, we whisper quietly, we quite like you, Leeds, Leeds, Leeds. Dumb comment.
Look at Bill in that 3rd goal celebration. He loves it. All the times I've been in that part of the South stand and I've never had a player celebration, like that, so close. Great video guys. On on on.
Thank you so much for a great video. The atmosphere was fantastic the LEEDS fans were brilliant 🤩 as always . You showed better coverage of the game than the bbc there’s was rubbish. HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥳 THANKS FOR A FANTASTIC COVERAGE. LEEDS FOREVER M.O.T.
Thanks for another great video. Loved it. Words to YRA song: "we fear no foe", not "folk".... Didn't like Leeds playing that record at the end, I hope they don't repeat it. South stand and Gelderd end can create their own atmosphere without the assistance of a record player. Makes us sound like West Ham or Chelsea or some other poncy club.
@@liamhainsworth3105 haha, no you're right it int! But look at the endings to the matches against Brentford, Wolves and Palace. Incredible by the fans, absolutely incredible. Leeds fns don't need drums or pop songs.
We fear no folk-oh dear the youth of today. :) Brilliant well edited video. South Stand is the place to be. The new "safe standing" on the wall above the exit steps looks .... interesting. MOT
@@TerraNova1967 nah I agree pal. I think that was the only song they could get away with playing at the end of a game...especially a hostile one against Burnley 🤣
What a brilliant video. As I can't justify paying for membership when I'm not guaranteed a ticket, I'm strictly an armchair fan nowadays but I miss being among the best supporters in the world. Brought back memories. MOT
Great fan cam jack and tash.loved the end with kaiser song.brill.captured the atmosphere.would have been there 🙄and was gutted not to be but this let me experience it .👏👏👏👍great job.MOT .
I have just Subscribed as this really captures the atmosphere and your great support and I first attended my team's match in 1962, just the odd 60 years ago now but I'm 200 miles away or 195 miles to be absolutely precise :)
Did you capture the Everton game? Took my lad to see it as he's a huge leeds fan. Sadly his first and last game he'll see from stands. Leeds fans started fighting amongst each other right next to kids. Some really nice fans but sadly for my boy it was ruined by some fucking morons. Why can't fans sing respectful songs about the love for the club and game rather than tarnish the beautiful game with foul language and calling people racists and pedophiles by association. Grow up
I always thought the YRA song was "wherever we go, we fear no foe" ? That's what I always sang with my late bro Dave ( he was a Leeds fan, I'm a Burnley fan)
Those great Leeds fans eh ! City beat United 5-1 in 1989 at Maine Road. United fans filled the Platt Lane. They left disappointed but left the Platt Lane intact. In the early 90s we beat Leeds 4-0 in successive seasons. Both times the Leeds fans ripped the seats out. Load of thugs.
If you poked a dog with a stick and it bit you would you also cry that the dog was a disgrace? Just stay the fuck away from the fans who's hearts you've just temporarily broken. If it was a Leeds player or players goading the fans they'd just scored against getting hit in the head with a missile I'd say the same thing, tough shit. Don't run over and goad them and no one will throw anything at you, it's not rocket science (although that was bottles trajectory last night almost was, unbelievable shot)
A dog bites when poked with a stick because that’s what it’s intelligence only allows it to do. If that’s the intelligence of these fans to be equal of a dog then crack on.
@@mrnobody4237 100%. This new PC outraged world is full of Fanny’s. Run to your own fans and celebrate. If it happened to a Leeds player I’d say tough shit.
