Granny Pat(may I call you that?), I found your channel by chance yesterday. I must tell you I have been binge-watching all your videos. Your cookiing videos, your vintage glass, your holiday decor, and your delightful stories of your life experiences. I should say you are THE best storyteller ever. I could listen to you for hours. My parents are both gone, both born in the 20s, and I do miss all the stories from them and their siblings. Thank you for not only filling that void, but making our lives just a little more enriching by your efforts. They are much appreciated and do not go unnoticed. thank you for all your hard work, and many blessings for continued years of being my star you-tuber.
My favorite side-line expression comes from Clint Eastwood, “Make My Day”. I must say, you just did! Comments on my videos have lifted me more than I can begin to tell you. They give me renewed faith in mankind. Thank you so much and do me a favor - recommend my channel to your friends and family. Your followings are encouragement to me. Everybody calls me Granny Pat!
@Chit Chat with Granny Pat Granny Pat I just adore you! New subscriber here! I just found you on your potato salad video! Now I am binge watching your videos! I will listen to anything you want to talk about! Much love from Melissa in the mountains of Virginia. 🙏 ❤ I hope you had a beautiful blessed Mother's Day sweetie! And Happy Birthday! 🎂🎉🍨🎊🌷🥰💗
You are one of the most interesting people on RU-vid! I very much enjoy the time I spend with you. Thank you for your wonderful stories and cooking videos. ❤
Hi pat. Your stories are wonderful. You remind me of my grandma. She always had such wonderful stories being a farm wife in southern mo she saw and lived a lot. One day I was washing dishes in her kitchen and I left the water run to rinse she came up and very nicely said if you ever had to pack water you wouldn’t waste it. She has been gone a long time now and I have thought about that moment many times. She was right I was wasting water without a thought. I remember that and wonder did anyone else have stories of a frugal grandma. 👵
I know what you mean by laughing when someone falls. I’ve never understood why that’s so funny. I’m so happy you didn’t get seriously injured. I love all your stories. You remind me of my Grandma Loudermilk, my Mom’s mother. She would sit in her rocking chair in her little house in front of the wood heater and tell me stories of when she was growing up. She passed about in 1974. She was 76 years old. Love you Granny Pat
Wow! You look great, I see people twenty years younger in years looking older than you do. Love your stories, the nice thing about being older is the memories you have. I am 72.
Granny Pat I love you stories!!! It is like my granny talking to me!!! And you teach us valuable information about dishes and collections. Thank you so much and I appreciate you sharing.
I just love you!!! I wish I could meet you in person! Please don’t ever stop your channel. I just found you and I will be watching as long as you post a video. Pat, you are a treasure. ❤❤❤
I am so thrilled to have found your channel…!!! I absolutely cannot wait to power watch your previous videos…!!! Your channel just suddenly appeared in my feed…!!! LOVE IT…!!!!!
I just discovered your videos. Your stories are charming and reassuring as well. You are a charming person; but, most importantly you are a representation of American values. You are a treasure. Thank you so much!
This is only the second video I watched of yours, so I’m a new subscriber. I enjoy your stories. I’m 66 years old and retired. I have three boys on their own and eight grandchildren. I know what you mean when you say that your family is proud of you. That is amazing. I am so much into vintage things, and I’ve learned so much from you, pertaining to glassware and the stories behind those precious keepsakes. No more falls OK.😮😊 , and I’ll see you on the next video
My role model is Clint Eastwood. 90 something and working. I am older than you and run a small business. If health allows, remaining active and engaged is essential to one's quality of life.
I’m in Spokane, Wa and am 78. I love being ‘home’. I’ve been writing little encouragements on Fb for several years now. Telling my stories as part of my postings. It’s a way to share our family history and bring a little joy to others lives at the same time. Glad to subscribe to your channel. My dad called my granddad a living library…now that’s what we are…a resource of experiences, foibles and blessings alike👏❤️
Hello Pat , I love calling you Eunice. I hope you don’t mind your stories are wonderful I’m gonna start hating when I start falling over oh, that scares the daylights out of me and I love how you love your antiques. You have a great taste in that just want to say hello and tell you I love your stories, your friend from Columbus, Ohio.
Pat love hearing you today. I love your road trips😀👍. I especially like it when you mention your Mother and Dad. It is so special when your Daddy let you buy the dish for your Mother💕. Glad your fall didn’t do any serious injury. 🙏👏👏carson
Another funny, charming chit chat with a wonderfully enchanting lady who's enjoying her new venture. Keep bringing your stories for us to enjoy. We love them and love you. David
Oh how I love you Miss Granny Pat. I could just listen to you 24/7 if I didn’t have to have to take care of bodily functions etc. you trade the best on RU-vid or anywhere else. You need to have a LIVE. I’m telling anyone I can about your wonderful channel. Keep on bringing them to us, what a storyteller you are, Granny Pat. Hugs and kisses 💕🌸
Oh my, I did the same thing. I was in charge of my 2nd or 3rd cousin’s huge antique cut glass punch bowl in the tub! I cried all day; I felt so bad! I was about the same age and am 82 now. Something I’ve never forgotten.
Anyone that can admit to laughing when someone falls (assuming they didn't get hurt) is my kind of people. Lol I had to subscribe. I love your stories!
I just found you because of your Fostoria video. I have to tell you I clicked for the title but I subscribed for you. You remind me so, so much of my mama I lost 6 years ago. Her name was also Pat and she would have been 87 this past March. When I say you could have been sisters it's not an exaggeration. Looks, voice, mannerisms and the best of southern charm. She had so many great stories that I've heard so many times. I worry that I'll forget them. I wish she'd done something like this so her stories would live on. What a special gift you are sharing with us. Thank you. My mama loved Goodwill shopping and collecting her treasures. I have many of them now and I try to learn more information. Listening to you is like getting a little visit from her. Your knowledge is priceless. We need more people like you on RU-vid. Happy Belated Birthday! And Glad to see you can still bounce back and have a sense of humor about yourself.😉 Kelli
You leave me speechless. I have never had anything this nice said about me, and to be compared to your own mother! They say everyone has a twin. Maybe your mother was mine. Thank you for the compliment. I hope I can live up to it.
If you don't happen to have lighter fluid, a drop of oil works well at removing labels or pricetags from glass, metal and porcelain. The oil breaks down the adhesive.
Dear Granny Pat. You are a doll! A genuine little doll. I just discovered you today. I’m in San Diego California @ 12:10 pm. You are an inspiration Granny Pat. Keep on moving. There’s a whole gang uh folks out here that really need you. Warmest and Kindest Regards-Bob-San Diego California.
Happy & blessed birthday dear, Pat. Hope you're all better soon. I have no memory of a grandmom. So I think God had me find you to be that grandmom figure for me.❤
I just found you a few videos ago and you just make my day! I LOVE your stories!! It is like sitting with my Nana and her sisters.....so wonderful!! I bought one of your books from Amazon and am enjoying it so much! You are a National treasure ♥️♥️♥️♥️
You look awesome I love your❤earrings and your sweater it suits you so much. I t is true unfortunately when someone falls down we cannot help it and laugh. Honestly there is no explanation about it😅 Love your stories ❤❤❤
I enjoy your channel. I live in clarksville. I know exactly what you mean about never forgetting the terrible feeling when something with sentimental value, that can't be replaced breaks. It happened to me too.
I can only imagine how heartbreaking it would be to lose antique pieces that are sentimental to us. I have many treasures from my great grandmother and grandma. I love every piece but of course am always nervous about losing them. And I am guilty of laughing when people fall. When my daughter started walking I couldn’t help but laugh when she fell (not hurt). 🙂 I’m glad you weren’t hurt and can laugh about it with Jan
I love your stories and your sense of humor. You sound like my grandmother, and remind me of my mother who I lost at age 80. She was my best friend and I miss her terribly. You make me happy. Please be careful. We want you to be telling us stories for as long as possible. ❤❤❤
Dear Granny Pat, I’m so glad you are ok! I had to chuckle a bit thinking of you and Jan laughing after the spread eagle fall. And you being saved by handsome men! 💕
I have been looking for someone to keep my attention on RU-vid for hours now. You have enthralled me by far the most 😭❤️ feels like I’m talking to a wise and interesting neighbor
Pat my mom fell more than I could count. She needed a knee replacement and she was afraid to have the surgery and her knee would go out and down she went. I took care of her for 2 1/2 years and every fall was so devastating to see. Sometimes I caught her but most times I wasn't there. She refused going to the hospital most of the time. Be sure to use a walker and a cane. I had two walkers for my mom. If you happen to fall out of the bed they make a nice thick rubber mat to put beside your bed. My mom and I love antiques. We both have a house full of them. I love your antiques. My mom passed on June 25th last year. I was so devastated and lonely without her. She was 92 years old and was still a beautiful woman. It was amazing. Take care of yourself dear.
I can definitely relate to laughing when someone falls. Even at myself. I too feel very nostalgic when I spot an item in a resale shop and must buy it.
HELLO 😊 From Oakdale Minnesota. Just stumbled upon you while on RU-vid on my TV. Nice big screen 😂. 67 years young. Gosh I am enjoying you. Keep up the fun ... Miki
I needed you so badly in my life right now as my sweet mom & best friend in the whole world just passed away this February! I miss her so much & your stories remind me of the stories mom used to tell! I also have a RU-vid channel & many times mom would tell her stories & my subscribers just loved hearing her! She would of been 88 this month! So I want to thankyou so much for your beautiful stories! It's so true about when people fall & it tickles people! You had me laughing!!! The 1st time I've had a good laugh since mom passed away! I'm so glad you only walked away with some scrapes & bruises! It takes a long time to mend! I'm looking so forward to watching all your programs & again thankyou so much for sharing your stories! Mom & I & both my girls used to take trip our "Girl Trips" too! So many good times! I'll see ya again soon! Blessings my friend!❤❤❤
You are the best part of my day! I love your stories, takes me back. I’m 74 and my sister will be 92 at the end of the month. My brother would have been 85 this year. So many memories.
I’m glad you didn’t get hurt from your fall. I can relate to you and your daughter getting tickled. Me and my sisters get tickled and laugh at the most inappropriate times.

My husbands Birthday was yesterday as well!! He turned 70:(! God bless you Granny Pat!! Look forward to watching all your old and new videos!!💗💓🙏
I am a new subscriber as of today. I am 67 and from Midland, Michigan. I am loving your stories and... Yes I do laugh when someone falls but only after I know they are not hurt. Lol 😮 😅
Granny Pat I am a new subscriber and you have just put such a smile on my face. My mother passed a few years ago and listening to your stories reminds me so much of how we used to shop, go out to eat, and travel together. We also get so tickled and just laugh together all the time. I miss her so much every single day. Thank you for reminding me of those good times.
I remember being with my mom walking through the centre of Wolverhampton the town I was raised in. It was lumchtime and the office workers and business men were out and about looking for a place either to eat or to eat their lunches. It was a little icy as it was November and all of a sudden my mom went down legs in the air landing on her back. The suited business men came running and helped my mom to her feet, I was hysterical with laughter. I knew she hadn't hurt herself she fell on her bottom and the force of her fall caused her to end up on her back. We do find it funny when we fall, I laugh when I fall myself I have no idea why. Thank you once again for your stories, I hope your daughter recovered from the bug, I hope you didn't come down with it.
Granny Pat...I'm 62 and my mom is 85, we live together. One morning, I slipped and fell down the basement stairs, crashed into a shelf then fell to the ground. I sat there for a minute to gather my thoughts and wondered why my mom didn't come, due to the loud crash. Well, she was watching the news and never heard it but my four cats stood at the top of the stairs, looking down at me like they were wondering what was doing on the floor. Well, we can laugh about it now because I'm fine but you know what I believe....we all fall but the key is how you land, to not get hurt! Love your videos Granny Pat❤❤❤❤
I'm watching a youtube video you did about 8 months ago on how you make banana pudding. You show us your toaster oven and why you bought it. I could relate to that. I'm 81 yrs old (grew up in Knoxville, TN with 4 brothers and sisters, Mama and Papa.) We went to church every Sunday too. And many Sunday's Mama stayed home and cooked the Sunday dinner. My favorite part was the desert. Back to the toaster oven: this past year I wanted a toaster oven to use instead of turning on the big oven for me -one person. I went to our town Swap Shop at the town transfer station (better know as the dump). We have a darling swap shop where you can give away items. Someone was giving away a really nice Black and Decker large toaster oven. It was clean so I took it home. I love it and use it very often. I love you You Tube channel. You are a welcome relief from all the other stuff on cable TV. Thanks for taking the time and effort to provide your audience with lovely commentary and information.
You are such a wonderful story teller Granny Pat. I enjoyed everything you talked about. Can’t wait for the next one. Belated Happy Birthday and many more!❤️
I had a green and white Pyrex bowl that belonged to my granny. She must have gotten it sometime in the 70s, probably before I was born in 77. Well, I was moving things around in the cabinet one day, where I keep all the mixing bowls and large pots, and it fell on the floor and shattered into a million pieces. I was so upset over that. That bowl survived almost 50 years, if not more, then gone in second.
The subject line including the word “falling” is what caught my eye, thinking you might be giving us some tips of how in the world to get up, I clicked to read. Well, you spoke of many more interesting things! Falling isn’t so new to me, it’s that I have reached the age and am handicapped just enough that I am having issues getting back up. My knees are bad enough now with me in my 70’s that I can’t get to my knees and pull myself up. My husband is 16 years older than me and he cannot pull me up nor can I pull myself up holding on to him. His skin is so thin that I would tear and injure him just trying to get up. Unfortunately if it is a fall here at home it means a call for the fire department to come rescue me. They are just down the street and even though I am so grateful for them it is still so embarrassing.
