95-99 Nissan Sentra Crank Oil Seal 

I know this video is old, but for whoever wants to do this. You onl;y need to loosen the power steering tension bolt, is on the left of the pump. You do that from the top, no need to loosen anything on the pump. Also from the top you loosen the AC belt pulley tension bolt, also from the top. Then you can remove the belts.

It’s a M6-1.0 thread for the holes on the harmonic balancer . Some puller kits you rent from O’Reilly’s or autozone sometimes don’t have the specific thread size for the 1.6 crank pulley . I realize the video is antiquated but for anyone with this issue there’s a tip .

Thanks for instruction. 8.8 is a strength class of the metric bolt equals to grade 5 SAE. The thread size of the bolts to used to pull the pulley is M6

You should put a lil bit of motor oil on the seal before installing it . Otherwise it will fail sooner than it should.

There is oil leakage coming from the front end of crankshaft in my car. Before giving up to a mechanic/shop, I want to see if I can do work on myself. If the oil seal is the cause, I should be able to do repair it instead of giving up to a mechanic. Oil seal is not expensive, whereas the labor cost can be expensive. I have known the procedures from service manual, but I don't expect the difficulty to remove/loose the belt from power steering pump pulley, water pump pulley and AC compressor pulley. Doing those things by myself could save much money. The problem is I don't have those tools required. I only have a jack, no jack-stand. So I have to wait until I have them all. Btw, oil leakage coming out from the middle (oil pan) and from the rear end of the crankshaft is more difficult to do, because it probably needs to remove either the engine or the gearbox, whichever considered appropriate.
