I’m the same way with manga, if I can’t get into the art style, I can’t get into the manga. Even if I love the story. For example: I love the anime Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, so when I started collecting manga again I bought vol 1 of Nura. I didn’t even get halfway through vol 1. Like, the story was good, I knew I liked the story because I liked the anime. However, I couldn’t get passed the art style of the manga.
the Books a million sale going on right now is great, but only if you can go in person. Unfortunately I live in a state without a locaiton and they charge a lot for shipping, with per item shipping and then overall shipping, and then tax on top of that. They have no free shipping qualifying tier. Even with the sale it ends up being more than everyday pricing from rightstuf. Rightstuf also doesn't charge tax
I’m actually planning on making a video comparing the two and the plus and negatives of both. You can get free shipping from BAM but you have to have the 25 dollar membership. However I found out only after that the 10% off extra you get as a member is in store only which is a massive draw back
