I replaced the engine on my ZXI 110 back in 2015, never finished editing the video and forgot about it until I started working on the ski again. Turns out I had spark problems back then as well.
I would keep the oil injection it more reliable then premix. In the Keihin carbs the internal filter often partially clogs restricting fuel and those oil. If you want to safe run direct inject and run 100:1 premix
Really like the content super helpful I have the same exact ski rn I just need to replace the electrical box n cdi but it's my first time dealing with electrical is it smarter just to pay for a whole new box or try n replace each piece myself?
I really all depends on what's available at the time I was having a hard time finding a complete Box so I ended up buying the part separately I would prefer to buy a complete Box that I knew came from running ski
That thing you called a choke is a primer pump, pull and push it in and out to send fuel to the carbs. you was doing real good up until that point then I lost interest.
I've got a new 900cc engine in my 1998 jet ski, but no spark... There is a black wire with red stripes & I'm not sure where to hook it up. I saw it on your video. Where does it go? Does it go on the negative terminal of the battery? Thanks
@@freshaziisfreshaziis5064 50:1 is the maximum mixture at full throttle with the oiling system and that can go as high as 100:1 at idle. I run straight 50:1. 40-45:1 for break in.
